I was extremely far sighted,with a heavy astigmatism,and after cataract surgery with Dr. Arkin, all of that is now history.
Thanks to Dr. Arkin,and his wonderful staff,I now have almost 20/20 vision,and no longer wear prescription glasses.
Dr. Arkin helped guide me through the correct "IOL" implant following cataract surgery,and I'm delighted with the results.

When I was diagnosed with shingles on my face, Dr Arkin was on call and met with me. I asked my local optometrist what he thought of Dr Arkin. He said that Dr Arkin has a terrific reputation for excellent surgery. As a result after the shingles healed, I was able to have my cataracts removed. People know I've had double cataract surgery. They shudder thinking about having it done. I tell them there's nothing to fear when Dr. Arkin is the surgeon. During the whole experience I felt safe, taken care of and there was no pain.during the Surgery. It was done in a timely manner also.

Careful, conservative, compassionate and thorough. And good. Arkin was able to correct an IOL capture so that the pupil is a normal, round shape after correctve retinal reattatchment surgery had unfortunately left it hung up on the lens. Also, Dr. Arkin has closely monitored follow-up as my body does not like the man-made lens that replaced my cataract lens. Vision is now better in eye with multiple surgeries than the other eye.
