I can't agree more with the comments here. Dr. Mauk is outstanding! She is so sweet and thorough. The staff is fantastic too. They answered all my questions and were super supportive with me being new to the office. Seriously one of the best medical experiences of my life and I've worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years. I do not normally take time to write reviews, however Dr. Mauk and her staff were phenomenal in their service and care, addressing my eye injury on a weekend while on vacation from out of town. In my experience they treat every patient with exceptional care as if they were one of their 'regulars', even following up several days later to make sure everything was going well. I cannot speak highly enough of their quality of care, thank you!!

This is the first independent optometrist I've been to after going to chains my whole life and wow, what a difference in care!!! Dr. Mauk is so personable and welcoming, she does a full checkup without rushing you. All the other staff members were friendly, professional. Since I paid out of pocket, I also appreciate the clear pricing. Plus, the frames are stylish, very good selection of all price ranges. My glasses arrived in under 2 weeks and they had a small overpayment refund check ready with them. I'm happy to rely on Dr. Mauk and her staff for my optometry needs. Thank you!

I have only use their optical dispensing shop but I give them only one star. I wish I could give them zero though. As you can see from the photo, both lens is cracked out a mounting drill point. And these glasses were only two years old. Optical shop refused to cover these under warranty and to add insult to injury said they give me a 30% discount if I gave them my business again.
Crooks thieves liars incompetent and care nothing about the customer. If you're wise you will take your business elsewhere because their work is terrible and is soon as they get your money they don't know you.

Honestly, one of the best experiences at a medical facility ever. My first visit was because I was seeing flashes in the edge of my vision. They fit me in the same day. Then at my follow up, I had developed a stye in my eye. The office staff that confirmed my appointment the day before checked in with Dr. Mauk on her day off to see if I should come in ahead of time (it ended up it was fine to wait until my scheduled appointment).
The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They were clear ahead of time on the cost (it was considered medical rather than vision, so ended up out of network for my insurance). I never felt rushed. Dr. Mauk was thorough and took her time explaining what was going on. And they all gave me positive feedback on having reached out for care with the symptoms I had. I'm so happy I did. I've definitely found my new eye doctor in T.C.!

Was in town for a bachelor party and scratched my eye, I called the next morning and was able to get an appointment asap. I was seen by Dr. Mauk and she was the absolute best, she was very inviting, and had a wonderfully pleasant upbeat demeanor. I am an absolute baby when it comes to anything related to the eyes and she worked so well with me giving me positive reassuring feedback while tolerating me barely having my eyes open. If only I lived here or else I would switch to have her be my primary eye doctor. Can't recommend her enough!
