Eye Surgery Center of Michigan

I had cataract surgery in January of 2023. I owe my life to the Eye Surgery Center. Just before going into surgery on my first eye a female doctor checked my lungs and said it would be best to see my primary care provider before they did the second eye. They found stage 3 lung cancer. I went through radiation and chemo and then immuno-therapy. I have had several clean CT scans since then. I really would love to know who this doctor is that suggested I see my PCP. I owe her everything. Thank you so much!!! My eyes are fine now also. Thank you over and over.

The absolute best care was provided me during 2 cataract surgeries. The entire staff is fantastic during the intake, surgery prep, anatesia team, operating team, and aftercare support. They are all awesome.

had surgery there. medical history took care of that in person. its convenient and easy to find. they knew i needed an extra strong anesthesia. at the other place my legs were twitching annoying the doctor. this time i was out cold. i use the same stuff all the time. now both eyes are fixed and i have 20/25 vision i was told today at the surgeons office.

Very professional, friendly and thorough people here. They took good care of me and my cataract surgery and process went very smoothly as a result of their care to do good work and follow procedure. They also had good bed side manner, which is so calming when you are about to have someone operate...on your eye.

The staff are really nice. D r. Marc Siegel was the one that did my cataract surgeries 7 almost 8 months ago. I almost didn't want to leave there, since it was a very nice facility. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who need cataract and glaucoma surgery.

My first cataract surgery went well both during & after. My second surgery on my right eye was a little bit disheartening due to not enough anesthesia. I would highly recommend telling them you want to be comfortable and not wake up during surgery like I did! The nurse told me that they are almost done, but it felt like an eternity to me! I felt the pressure, I saw various colors, wierd designs. My nurse who gave me the IV took a small vein in my opposite arm and I wondered why she didn't use my obvious vein in my right arm? Did I get proper medicine through that tight vein?! One has to ask questions and be your own advocate. They are not paying for this surgery on me, I am! All in all, I have my eyesight, I am recovering from cataract surgery in both eyes now. It did get a little pricey for me, even with health insurance. ( However, insurance has to kick in, too.).I am just saying to speak up if something does not feel right, ie ( the vein for meds), and waking up too soon. I told them I can see colors, I can see a pin type item coming at my eye and I'm told they need me awake for this operation?! Not a good memory, but I am still in the process of healing and I'm thankful that so far, I have no problems.

Great place for cataract surgery. Today is my second visit here. The staff are friendly and the doctors are good. My grandma is doing her second eye surgery today. Super clean, professional workers and you will enter on time. I recommend this place and Dr.Kasprick is a great doctor.

I am very particular and picky especially about doctors but I'm so glad I met Doctor Michael Siegel through my uncle, when I came into his office he ordered all types of eye testing! "he was my second opinion" he checked both eyes and told me I need cataract removal surgery, so I went in yesterday August 4th he removed my left cataract and will be go back in one week to remove the right cataract, I'm using my drops and can see much clearer. I would definitely highly recommend Glaucoma center of Michigan and Dr Michael Siegel and oh everything is so nice and clean and a excellent staff.
