Dr. Lucas is very knowledgable and so is the staff! Great experience , never had an issue. They always try to get me in as soon as possible. They listen to my concerns and put my mind at ease!

I scheduled a appointment for a exam for a surgical procedure. Upon making the appointment this was explained to the scheduling staff so that I could be directed to the proper doctor. The appointment was made and went to the appointment on the scheduled day and time. Was called back to the room and was asked "What are you here for?" by the assistant. I explained what I was there for, and she says "hold on a minute" and leaves the room. She comes back 5 minutes later and tells me that "The doctor you need to see is not in today". "We need you to reschedule your appointment". So I rescheduled the appointment. Now... this place is trying to bill me and my insurance for the first appointment where I never seen a doctor or received any services. This is incompetence on their part. I found out that they also use a 3rd party billing. So if you call the office they transfer you back to them. I'm currently disputing the charges for services I never received. Do not do business with this place! BUYER BEWARE! Update:. They finally corrected their mistake. They refunded my insurance and I owe them nothing. Glad I went to see a Beaumont Dr. after that experience! If you have to use KEI watch your medical bill and your benefits statement closely.

been going here for years--really love dr. murphy & his nurse ann--everyone is so nice here--you can really trust them to take care of your eyes....

I just tried calling to schedule an exam for myself and my son, and this is about as far as I got. The woman I spoke to over the phone couldn't understand who my employer provided insurance was. One of the most popular insurance providers... VSP. She got frustrated at me and hung up. Glad I know now that this would've been a waste of my time.

My first visit here. I have been to the Detroit location in 2017. I like both places and have had only good experiences at both. Today I went and it was fast, and everyone was courteous. The exam was thorough and attention to cleanliness. In this day and age, people whine about the stupidest things. We live in an entitled world where many are adults acting like babies. My advice don't believe the negative reviews; you might miss out on a great eye exam.

My mother had an appointment yesterday, and upon arrival was required to remove her clean, well fitting mask in order to put on a surgical mask provided by the office. She was in a waiting room with other patients, which all had to do the same thing, and she had to expose herself and others in order to take off her own mask so that she could put on one that was sitting in an open box, on a desk exposed to dozens of people every day, and was handed to her by someone else who hadn't washed their hands. How does this make any sense? She was told this was "the new policy". This policy is not medically sound; please address this issue.

The assistants are very rude. The doctor is very intelligent about the procedures but also can be incredibly rude and talk down to you. If your desperate this is a good place, but now I wish I would have found somewhere that has better bedside manner. It's stressful enough without being talked down to. I would give zero stars if I could. Shame on them. They make big money to be so rude.
