Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery

I can't say enough great things about this office. On two occasions, I needed to be seen urgently, and they went out of their way to expedite my appointment the same day. The doctor was incredibly attentive, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease during a stressful situation. Outstanding care from start to finish.

Was going here for 20 years without an issue. Then was suddenly they told I had an outstanding balance from 2 years ago, they lied about notifying me about it, and sent it to collections. Mind you, this was a trivial amount, not a large balance. Seriously, these guys are total scum.

I was a patient of Dr. Jancevski's for several years. The last time I had an eye exam, she was in a terrible hurry. My eye exam with the tech was over and she came in very briefly. As she got up to leave, I tried to ask her to wait because I had a big concern with my eyesight that I needed her to look into. I started trying to tell her that I have been seeing black spots in my vision, especially in low light. She cut me off, stated definitively that my eye exam was good and that she'll see me next year. Then she walked out of the exam room. I was stunned at the lack of concern and the rudeness. So, I went to the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Eye Institute for a 2nd opinion, and was told I have cataracts. I understand that I am young to have cataracts, early 50s, but it isn't unheard of so Dr. Jancevski should have taken a minute to hear my concerns. Anyway, I liked this practice because the front desk and techs are all nice, and it is very close to my house. So, I just called to see if I can come back to them but choose a different doctor. I was told no, I have to see the same doctor even after I told the receptionist what had happened previously. That is really disappointing. We are the patients, we should be able to see a different doctor if one makes us uncomfortable. So, needless to say, I absolutely cannot recommend this practice, because in several ways now they have shown they do not listen to their patients.

Have been seeing Dr. Jancevski for the past three years. She's thorough, listens well, gives good explanations, and is very nice. The whole team at this practice are very nice, considerate, and organized and I haven't ever felt like a number in any part of the visiting processes!

Dr Erickson has been my doctor for at least 20 years and he and the staff are wonderful. Dr Jancevski recently performed 2 cataract surgeries and she was very competent and professional. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Jancevski and her staff at Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery are second to none! Dr. J is patient and explains everything to me during my appointments. The staff is courteous and professional. I always leave the office with a positive feeling.

This is a busy office The appointment process was easy and quick. I was not called back to a room until 15 minutes after my appointment time but once the appointment started things moved along smoothly. Staff is friendly and efficient

I have been seeing Dr. Jancevski for many years. She's thorough and explains everything in a way that's easy to understand. I recently had cataract surgery and received great care - the procedure was simple and painless. I am very happy with Dr. Jancevski and the staff in both the Troy and Birmingham locations.
