From entering the establishment, I was greeted warmly, I was the only customer in the store at the time, but I asked questions about the glasses and how it works with insurance, I was answered thoughtfully and knowledgeably with the answers. The doctor was thorough and explained what was going on with my eyes and I asked about Lazik and was given his exact recommendations on that and also about an itch I have on my eyes, and gave me a sample of the items I would need to see if it helps. It has already. Then I looked at some frames and left. I will return to this location again to look for glasses next month.
I had a great experience for my first eye exam with Dr. Schultz. She explained the findings in a clear way and answered all my questions and concerns. The staff at Pearle Vision were professional and courteous - the whole visit was seamless.
I had an amazing experience. Toni was able to understand and translate the issues I was having from laymen terms of not understanding. Dr. Schultz examined me carefully and listened to Toni's suggestions. I was truly taken care of and my needs were met.
The Dr was pleasant. They charged for items without notifying me of the extra charge. Exams ran late. Dr was bouncing between patients which made me sit and wait in the room from time to time for 10 minutes. They don't carry contacts on site. They were pretty crabby on the phone because "they were so busy". It wasn't the best of experiences.
I have seen Dr Shlafer twice at Pearle Vision in Edina. He is an exceptional optometrist and wrote a glasses prescription for me that solved a problem I'd had for years that no other optometrist would deal with. It was really quite amazing. Other staff are friendly and efficient and this location is well run. Highly recommend.
Pearle Vision in Edina, Dr. Schultz, and the other staff are all excellent. They are thorough while being efficient, and very friendly while focusing on their responsibilities. I will continue to go there for my eye care.
I discovered. on my visit that they had just updated some policies and to charge for tests that aren't covered by most vision insurance. The eye doctor acted like a used car salesman and I didn't feel like he cared about my eyes. He then charged me for contact fitting even though I said I rarely wore contacts and had boxes already at home. I was not impressed. since the last time I was seen at this location, it was a great experience. I will not be going back to this location.
Came in to get glasses and got the wrong prescription. When I came back the lady in front was rude and didn't believe me that my glasses were wrong and told me you should get your eye exam and your glasses from the same place which insurance says you can go anywhere as long as it's covered. I went back and my prescription they gave me was wrong and I got the new one. Staff was rude except the guy in the front.
