The Optical At 50th And France

I had an exceptional experience at The Optical a t 50th and France. I went in knowing I wanted to purchase two pairs of eyewear, and I had the pleasure of working with Kitty as my optician. From the moment I sat down, Kitty took the time to learn about my style and assess my face shape to determine which frames would suit me best. I loved that instead of me trying on dozens of frames, Kitty did the shopping for me. Every frame she brought over came with a thoughtful explanation -- how it complemented my face shape, worked with my eyebrows, and whether it was the right width or height. She even paid attention to details like whether the lenses touched my cheeks. In just about half an hour (including the transaction), Kitty found two pairs of eyewear that I truly love. When I picked up my glasses, she made sure each pair fit securely and comfortably, and that I was completely happy with them. This was, hands down, the best experience I've had in my 33 years of wearing glasses. The opticians here are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about their customers. I'll be coming here from now on for all my eyewear needs--and as a bonus, it feels great to support a local small business!

The friendly and caring service I received was well beyond expectations. I got progressive glasses for the first time and it changed my life. I then got progressive sunglasses here and they both fit and feel like a dream. I get compliments on my glasses all the time. The Optical at 50th and France has the best selection of trendy quality glasses. I couldn't be happier and will definitely be coming back.

I've had a phenomenal experience with this place. Last fall I purchased a pair of beautiful frames that were unfortunately defective. After repairing the frames for me twice, the defect happened again. I requested to get an entirely different pair of glasses, and Diana (the manager) was more than accommodating. She and Michelle were very apologetic for the inconvenience (although the defect was not their fault) and worked with me to find the perfect replacement pair, which I LOVE. The service I received was second to none. Thank you, ladies! :)

I have been getting my eyeglasses here for 10 years and have had fabulous service. They have fun and functional styles and get so excited to fit you with something that not only fits well but looks great. I recently bought a pair of sunglasses that just didn't look good on me and they took them back and got me an awesome pair that I love. I highly recommend The Optical-you guys are the best.

Great experience-staff was very friendly, and the process of ordering high quality lenses couldn't be easier! Everything was explained well. My glasses were ready in less than a week and I am very happy with the feel and clarity of my lenses. Thank you!

I've bought two pairs of glasses from The Optical. My latest pair, an $800 pair of glasses (more than I've ever paid for glasses in my life), broke in half after four years. The Optical did not offer me any help other than to check to see if the manufacturer still made the frames and to possibly make me a "front," for one-half the price of the frames. I had also bought sun glasses ($100) to specifically fit these glasses, and am no longer able to use those. I'm very disappointed that The Optical didn't offer to compensate me in some way. I will not go back!

$750 for fishing glasses get serious. I have 2 pairs of Costa Del Mar's for fishing, I wanted my prescription put into one of them. These sunglasses were $200+ as sunglasses, now they wanted $750+ to put the prescription into my sunglasses, and their was no explanation about the special glass and the special film etc.. that was going to justify $750 for a prescription into a pair of sunglasses. I left the store and called my optician and told him what they wanted to charge for my sunglasses and he was shocked also. I went to a big box store the exact same day and they put in a green mirrored, polarized, scratch resistant, tri layer lense , in a progressive for $250 and I had them back in 10 days. I have fished with them in the ocean and the mountains this year and they are perfect. Look around before you pay way too much for a prescription.

Great customer service. I like to buy high-quality glasses and the owner held the shop open late for me to come down from St. Cloud and meet with a representative from a line that not many optical places carry. Amazing customer service. Absolutely the best I've ever had from an optical place.
