Big shout out to Renata at the front desk! My work switched insurance providers and when I checked in for my eye exam she let me know that the exam was not covered under this new plan. The salesman that explained the new plan to us at work said exam was covered and also a small credit for frames. I decided to stick with my appointment and pay the $175 out of pocket because I have been going her for ~30 years. Renata told me she was going to do some more investigating on my insurance plan while I was getting my exam. She came in the room about half way through to let me know that she found out the exam was covered and verified that there was credit for frames. She went way above and beyond normal customer service. Super pumped to only have had to pay $10 (co-pay) instead of $175. This place has always been awesome and everyone is always friendly and upbeat. Dr. Sealock is an OG!!

My experience here was terrible. I scheduled my appointment for new glasses and an evaluation for BVD. Dr. Don Sealock entered the exam room. At first things were fine, he was reviewing notes from the initial conversation I had with the technician. He asked me 2 different clarification questions and cut me off rudely both times when I tried to answer. He is very abrasive. He did a fabulous job of explaining BVD but that's the only positive thing I can say about him. After dilating my eyes, during the bright light portion, he had my eye held open wide and then stretched it even more. It seemed excessive. My poor eye was opened so wide to the point I felt pain, he didn't hold it open long but wow. Never experienced this at any of my past appointments elsewhere. At home my eye was painful and did have some slight swelling. After that he said the inside of my eyes were healthy and told me not to touch my glasses and left the room. Shortly after a lady told me to come with her to schedule vision therapy. Sat there waiting for almost 20 mins for the lady to come speak with me. She was having a conversation with 2 other women. Finally she came to speak with me and told me insurance only covered 12 sessions but that I would need to sign a contract for 4 months worth. When I was done with her I was confused as to what I was supposed to do next? I was given no summary of the exam. No idea if my prescription changed or if I would get prism lenses. I went back downstairs to ask about glasses and the 2 people at the front desk were nice and said they will find out. The guy said he could see the doctor putting notes in actively. I asked if I was ok to get glasses? That was one of the reasons I was even there and I was told well basically not to get glasses because after therapy the prescription could improve. Ok well that was not discussed with me before I was sent to schedule vision therapy and I wanted glasses before the end of the year! It would take 4 months to complete therapy anyway. Seemed really strange to me. The lady at the front desk was the best and brought up the I should get glasses because my insurance would cover them. She was great and helped me pick out great frames. I asked if they would be prism lenses and basically she said if I needed them. Well that would have been great to discuss with the doctor. So I left not feeling confident I will receive glasses with prism lenses or not. I was irritated that after almost 2 hours at this place I did not get to ask the doc any questions. The way the exam ended felt so abrupt and off. I will not go back.

For years I had double vision and eye strain issues. Other optometrists overlooked, dismissed, or said nothing could be done for these things. A friend referred me to Dr. Sealock at Four Seasons. It is no overstatement to say my quality of life has drastically improved due to the care and attention he provided along with the other clinic and vision therapy staff.

Four Season was the 4th optical store we visited this morning after having limited kids options and availability at the first 3 stores. We walked in and the front desk staff brought us back to the kids frame rack, went and got us the optician, and we were in and out of there in 15 minutes. Staff were extremely helpful and kind and with insurance this year we paid a 4th of the cost we did last year at a different clinic that doesn't take EyeMed. Their optometrists see kids and we will be switching to this clinic moving forward after the great experience we had today.

I came in for my first visit today and felt at home from the start. The office is beautiful and everyone that helped me was polite and knowledgeable which made me feel confident in making my choice to visit this business. Dr. Sealock was amazing as he handled me with care. David took me after Dr. Sealock and he was awesome to work with and he somehow found the perfect glasses for me on the first try; he definitely understood what he was doing. A life long customer has been made of me today and I hope others give Four Season Eye Care a shot after seeing this, it's completely worth it.

Dr. Sealock and Kristina helped me recover from a concussion and restore my vision. I am so grateful to have gotten top notch care during my vision therapy treatment. I highly recommend this facility for all vision needs/concussions. I also want to thank Chelsea the receptionist at the Buffalo location for helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. The whole Four Season's Eye Care team is amazing.:) Thank you for all you guys do.

A few things for readers of this review . . . 1. If you have any sort of eye condition outside of normal near sidedness or far sidedness, DO NOT see an optometrist. Go see an ophthalmologist. 2. If you are looking for eyeglasses or frames or lenses, I had a good experience. I live in St. Michael and saw Viola who helped me pick new lenses for my existing frames. I had to go to the Plymouth location to have the lenses fitted. Did not take long and was pleased with the outcome. 3. If you are not a fan of listening to people whistle, avoid this place at all cost! Dr. Don Sealock whistles - loudly and constantly. It is annoying! I tried to ask him to stop but he paid no attention. The receptionist at the Plymouth office, Renata, is a raging BeeOITCH! When I stood up to try to approach Dr. Sealock about his whistling, she was all rude and in my face. She is a disgrace to receptionists everywhere. So there you have it!
