Dr Cole is a specialist in his field. I am thankful for his expertise in providing service to my family, however he is very rushed and speeds through appointments. The billing dept is pure junk. So many issues, it makes it not worth it to go there. Issues like, telling us an exam will cost us 70-80 out of pocket with insurance and then 10 months later sending us a bill for close to 300 for the exam. 10 months later. Issues like telling us our appts will cost 45 dollars at the beginning, and then after 2 months of weekly sessions saying oops it was supposed to be 70 and then surprise billing you for the difference. When I called insurance they confirmed that they called to verify if the code was covered and if we needed prior authorization but never once asked any questions as to the amount we would owe per session. The insurance agent stated "I have no idea how they determine what you would be responsible to pay, so I would be very careful agreeing to any dollar amount because they probably quote low to get you in and then later bill for more." They charge you for your session when you arrive and bill insurance later so you have no idea that it isn't actually covered how they present it in your payment contract. Issues like us submitting payment through our HSA and them saying within days (when the process takes a couple weeks) that they didn't get the HSA check and having us have to make unnecessary phone calls to the HSA. There's been a lot of issues with billing. Issues that are sketchy and it's not worth his expertise in the field to have to go through the billing dept especially when Dr Cole is rushed and can't spend time with you to explain things in a way you understand because he is so rushed and busy. They also comment on reviews and say to reach out to the manager, but they don't ever respond to you when you reach out. Look them up on the BBB. Rated an F for not responding to complaints. Their billing practices are beyond shady.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The BEST service I've ever received . They made sure my glasses were perfect! lf you have to see an ophthalmologist, you'd be remiss if you don't go here !!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional clinic. Their online site let me schedule an appointment at 8:50am. I arrive at 8:45am and doors are locked and hours say they don't even open until 9am. Didn't answer their phone until 9am when I called and when I finally was able to reach someone. They told me I would have to reschedule even though it's their fault for letting me schedule that early... They also made it seem like it was my fault for not being able to make the appointment and she said the doors were unlocked 15 minutes early for customers, WHICH THEY WERE NOT. When I let them know I'd be leaving a review based on my bad experience, they didn't seem to care, as they have tons of bad reviews.. don't ever come to this place

Absolutely 100% would recommend Woodbury Eye Clinic. I had a really bad concussion 5 months ago (my 12th concussion) and have been using Fairview for 1) speech 2) PT, and 3) OT without much progress. Then I began using Woodbury Eye Clinic. My therapist, Kong, has been an absolute game-changer. I didn't feel like fairview helped me at all, but I have actually seen noticable progress in my recovery since using Woodbury Eye Clinic. Dr. Cole really knows his stuff about concussions and how the eyes work with the mind and body. Thank you!

I've been a patient at Woodbury Eye Clinic for a long time, and while most of the staff is kind and helpful, the management has not been a good experience. In particular, my interactions with the manager, Kris, have been consistently disappointing. When I asked for a mileage reimbursement form, she was dismissive, unprofessional, and spoke to me with an attitude. I also expressed frustration about my condition, and instead of offering understanding or support, she simply shrugged it off. This is not the first time I've been treated this way by her, and it stands in stark contrast to the professionalism and care shown by the rest of the staff. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously, because patients deserve respect and compassion from every level of care.

They told me that my insurance would cover the visit, but it did not and have to pay out of pocket. They will never get my business ever again.

Worst experience ever ordering contacts from here. Don't even bother - someone will "call you back" about it and never will.

Dr Lauermann preformed several follow-up visits after I had cataract surgery in both eyes over the course of two months. His professionalism was very consistent throughout each visit. I felt very confident about the exams.
