Thanks to Dr. Blake Matherne and staff for helping me through this process. After having my left eye done, the results were amazing. I went for the Lazer procedure with the IOL lenses and it was absolutely worth spending the extra money (figured i was worth spending the extra $$$). I now have 20/20 vision and see everything so vividly..The clarity and colors and are amazing. I had forgotten what it was to actually see everything without the haziness and double vision.. No need for my glasses anymore, can see when reading and distance with no problems. I had my right eye done this morning and can't wait for the end result. If it's anything like my left eye, I'll have 20/20 vision again at 73 years old. Highly recommend the Mississippi Eye Surgery Center!

So Dr. Thuber and his staff performed Ilasik on both of my eyes on Monday 12/8/25. I was in and out in about 2 hours (procedure time about 20minutes). I was blind for over 40 years wearing contacts continuously the entire time. After the procedure I could tell my vision had improved drastically. I was in minimal and very manageable pain (more of a discomfort) the remainder of the evening. The next morning I woke up to a very slight irritation and walked into the other room and looked into the trees at leaves and the squirrels and could see better than I ever did with contacts. That am, Dr. Thuber did a post-op checkup and my vision was 20/15 (better than 20/20). Everything Dr. Thuber and his staff explained was spot on. No need to take more than 2 pain pills the day of surgery and 3 days post-op it is if I never had anything done...no pain at all and perfect vision. Best money I ever spent with the best team and doctor around. Thank you for giving me the gift of perfect sight!

I've had one eye done so far and the other is next week. I can already see better!! The staff at the office and the surgery center are so friendly and helpful. I 100% recommend them if you need anything for your eyes!! Second eye completed!! I'm very pleased with everything!! I am sad that my surgeon is moving but he assured me his partners will follow up with anything I might need. I have faith as I know they've been there a while.
