The Office space even easy to find, it was neat and clean inside. They were on time for my appointment. Eye exam was performed in a timely matter. This was my second year, using them for my eye exam and glasses. I found it quite distressing, to be informed if I use my slightly more than a year old glasses frame for my new lenses that If the frames are broken when the new lenses are put in by the lens maker, neither company would be responsible monetarily for any dollar amount to purchase new frames. I doubt I will return because of this practice. If I do a return, it would only be for an exam.

This was honestly a wonderful experience. The staff were kind, efficient, and communicative. The Doctor was pleasant and communicative as well. It was a very streamlined office visit.

I have to give this place a 4 out of five because of a few annoying things, but overall I recommend them. Not everything is completely their issues. 1. Almost all the glasses are Luxottica the Monopoly that takes advantage of everybody that wears glass. 2. They charge more to reuse frames than buying new ones. That is not responsible. I am sure it has something to do with Luxortica. 3. Their notification system will send you 30 texts reminding you of an appointment, but they do not tell you when your glasses are ready. No text or call. So you have to keep running up there. I had glasses made and there was an issue with them. They redid the exam and made the changes to the glasses all for free. I give Clarkson lots of credit for that. It may have taken Luxottica 5 weeks to get me the new set back but again not Clarkson Eyecare's issue. I just wish there was a way to break up the Luxottica monopoly so there is competitive pricing and we don't have to pay $500 with insurance for glasses that cost $12 to make. They make it out like you are getting a deal with your insurance.

I had a 2:30 appointment but arrived early and the staff was so kind and took me immediately..The staff there was so kind and took care of my needs... Jackie was the one that helped me pick out my frames and I was so appreciative....Thanks to Clarkson Eyecare/Maplewood

I have to give this location 10/10 recommendation! Communication was amazing. The tech got up from behind their desk, helped you try on glasses and gave honest reviews! They keep you inside your budget! And kept a smile on their faces! Guess what, when I came for glasses pick up they remembered who I was! How awesome is that! My doctor was also great and explained each step prior to exciting the procedure. She ensured I was comfortable and understood everything! Thank you guys! I will be back!
