I have seen Dr Slinker for a number of years. He's great. He explains everything. And a super bedside manner. The person upset about the overcharge, have u gone into the office to talk to them? They've recently moved, & the desk folk r very nice. If they made a mistake, I'm sure they'll make it good. And I've given them chances to do things to plump up my bill, but they never have. Good luck.

I went in for what was supposed to be a yearly eye exam, and they somehow messed up the charge for my insurance and instead of paying $10 for my yearly, I have been charged over $300 for a standard eye exam. I have contacted them by phone and I have sent a letter explaining to them how to fix this and they have responded by completely ignoring me and sending the bill to collections. I will pay this bill because I have no choice but I will never ever go see Dr. Slinker again! This is a warning to anyone even considering going to see Springfield Eye Care Specialists, they will take every chance they can to make sure they take as much money from you as they can get. Terrible people who don't care about patients, but they do love that $$$. I will do everything I can to make sure all my friends know about this "service" they provided me.
