I went in for an eye exam. while I was waiting to check out I decided to get some glasses since they were 2 pairs for 79$. by the time I was able to even check out, 2 hours later, my glasses ended up being around $300 each. the next day, I decided to refund a pair because I really didn't need two pairs of glasses that cost $300. they immediately told me they would refund me. two weeks later, I still didn't get my refund and i went in to pick up my pair of glasses and my contacts that I had ordered. they tried to give me BOTH pairs and I told them I had refunded a pair. they said oh yes their records showed that I got my refund (despite them trying to give me both pairs of glasses) and they even gave me a receipt and told me to take it up with my bank. I called my bank and they confirmed that Stanton optical never refunded me and my bank went ahead and disputed the charges. basically, don't go here, they will steal from you.

I wouldn't trust this place to check my eyes again. I had a scheduled exam that ran 30-40 minutes late but I understand that; it was a Saturday and you're subject to a standard doctor's office situation. No big deal there. Got through the eye exam and asked for a new pupillary distance. The salesperson said "oh, that will be on the RX automatically." When I got the RX the PD read "68/65". Since I'm not 9' tall, that's obviously not a valid set of numbers. I asked if that was supposed to be a combined PD or if it was a typo, and if it was the former which number was correct. Understand that my PD on my last 3 scripts was around 68-70. The salesperson said they didn't know, so they attempted to measure it themselves and got a 64. Since I've not lost a ton of weight or had any car crashes where my face got mangled, I suggested that sounded wrong and she said, "it could happen". I called the location back and they didn't pick up the phone. I got some corp customer service line. I can see the PD number fluctuate a bit, but not 4-5mm lower... Long story short, if you aren't getting glasses this place clearly couldn't care less about your eye health.

Nicole and staff were excellent! Very personable and friendly. Nicole helped me pick out frames i liked and provided great feedback. I wish i could remember the other staff's names because i would give them a shoutout too:) The exam, glasses and lenses were very affordable without insurance! And would definitely be going back. Thank you!!

They did an awesome job for me, and if there is any problems with the new glasses, they do their best to fix the problem for you. And they have a payment plan which cuts the cost down to a manageable monthly payment. I been coming to Stanton Optical for about 10 years, and they've always done a good job for me. They genuinely care about their work. Ask for Saniya.

Was directly scammed and put into a crisis by this optometrist center when I was only 17. My partner and I came in for glasses during a promotion and we asked repeatedly about the price. At least four times because my partner has OCD and asks everything four times. We were assured it was only $500 for our glasses per person (*2) ($500 * 2 = $1000). It was a lie. After the appointment was over and we got our glasses, they informed us that they would see us next week for ANOTHER payment of $500 * 2 ($1000). The total cost was a little over double our budget. We had to beg for money and I've been stuck in a crises ever since. I'm 24 now. These people changed my husband and I's life for the worst over a pair of glasses. The glasses were phenomenal but not worth ruining my life over when we could've just been recommended cheaper glasses.

Went in for eye exam & glasses. No Dr. They use someone thru a computer screen. Waited 2 weeks for glasses. Knew right away something wasn't right. She said to try & see if it got better. I gave it a couple days & they were making me nauseas. Went back in & a real person gave me the test. Prescription was way off from the first time. They redid them & after waiting another 2 weeks got them. They were good. I wouldn't go back next time. I should have followed my instinct & walked out the first time when it wasn't a actual person giving the test.

I just had the greatest eye exam here! I went in thinking they might not even take my insurance, and I was banking on just the $79 offer for a quick replacement; everyone was very polite and informational with the insurance process. I was sold on 3 pairs including my first pair of perscription sunglasses and didn't pay a dime out of pocket! Thank you Dr. P and associate S. for all your help!

We made an appointment for 10:15 and had to walk out at 10:50 because they hadn't even called our names yet. They over book themselves and then expect you to wait an hour when you made an appointment and that's the point of making an appointment! They also do not even have an optometrist here and have some bogus 'hybrid' exam that they send off to a real doctor and that NEEDS to be clearly advertised!!
