Worst customer services/attitude from employee named Mercedes. Please hire genuine people who want to help. I just wanted to reorder contacts didn't need all the attitude and eye and neck rolling it's giving a bad spirit especially from a fellow black women

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Front desk staff was amazing and attentive. So they themselves get 5 stars. BUT THE OPTOMETRIST?? Dr. Cuci??? Zero. Went in to the vision center for a quick exam (thinking nothing because I assumed I would have nearsighted issues like my mother had. Had it been more serious would've went somewhere honest) words become fuzzy when watching a show with subtitles so I went in to be seen the next day. I was told I had astigmatism. Which, cool? My mom has it, grandmother, great grandmother, so on and so on. Now after she looked into my eye, she said there was pigment on my macular. Then proceeded to ask me if I smoked. Asked me about 5-6 times, each time I'm saying no. My grandmother passed from lung cancer over 10 years ago. I would never/have never touched tobacco. She then said well then I guess it's second hand smoke. She then tells me, I have early macular degeneration, but provided nothing else. No resources nothing.Tells me she shouldn't see it in someone so young then tells me to eat egg yolk and leafy greens and tells me to have a nice day. I'm 23. I then spiraled for an entire week before I could get into an ophthalmologist. I cried and cried because she basically told me I would be going blind. I went into the ophthalmologist today, they did a ton of tests, showed me my eye, and told me yes, I do have astigmatism. BUT that there are NO signs of macular degeneration and that it's normal pigment on my eye that SHOULD be there. She had me mentally in pain because I thought I was losing my eye sight for it to be actually nothing. Will not be returning or entering an office where her name is attached.

. Do not buy contacts here. I seen the eye doctor and was given the wrong prescription and was told to wear them for a few weeks, Because it would take time for my eyes to get used to them. When my eyes did not get used to them we figured out that he did not prescribe for my astigmatism. So I needed to be re-prescribed for astigmatism and have my previous prescription returned or exchanged. I brought them in to be returned and I was told to hold onto them until the doctor gave me my new prescription and exchange them. It took a month to get my new prescription because they had to be special ordered. When I went to exchange the previous prescription for the new one I found out the new prescription was going to be quite a bit more expensive and that it was going to cost almost twice as much as I would pay online. I asked to return the previous prescription instead and they told me I could not because it had been too long even though they are the ones who told me not to return them previously and to hold onto them until I got the new prescription. Long story short I ended up paying $196 more for two boxes than I should have. Take away get your prescription here if you want but don't order your contacts from them. Go online and order them. Don't trust them if they tell you to hold onto your previous order until they get it right. It's a scam. I thought Walmart was better then this.

I had a situation today that required immediate attention, due to the fact that my friend had run out of her daily wear lenses without realizing it. Ordering online meant she wouldn't have any lenses for another 3-5 days. She normally gets her lenses from LensCrafters, but they didn't have any of her lenses in stock - so I went to Walmart Vision Center at Shrewsbury where Toni and Ashley helped me not only get 5 of her daily wear lenses as samples, but also ordered a box of her lenses at a cost that was less than LensCrafters, and less than what my friend normally pays online. To top it off, Toni and Ashley were very friendly and extremely helpful in getting her prescription from LensCrafters (which wasn't easy) and filling my order as quickly as they could. Thanks Toni, Ashely, and Walmart Shrewsbury!!!

My assistant was so helpful and patient while I called my insurance company for approval(multiple times). She went way beyond for me! Very pleased with the overall experience.

Ashley and Tyler are always very on top of things and have excellent customer service skills! Honestly it's shocking how much this vision center outperforms the rest of the store on every level. Keep doing what you're doing!

Came in with broken glasses! Sarah saved my butt!! She was able to find a frame and fix my glasses!!! I don't like plastic frames but I was in a bind for time and she was great!!! Thank you Sarah!!!
