If you want a Doctor that's highly skilled with years of experience that you can trust to do his very best to improve your vision issues then Doc McMickle is your man.. as an octogenarian with little patience and more than one physician I too wish I could be in and out of their office in 30 minutes but that's not reality. Not all Doctors are created equal I had a first class experience with Doc. McMickle, a true pro from NJ, he was worth the wait, every minute of it.. Arthur V.

I've known Dr.McMickle for 15 years. He worked wonders for my husband through many complicated eye issues. I recently had cataract surgery and everything turned out perfectly! He is a phenomenal doctor and his staff are professional and very caring. Somehow 5 stars does not seem enough so I will give him 10!!!

I have been going to Dr McMickle for years. I only have vision in one eye and can't imagine anyone but Dr McMickle taking care of my eye. Great doc and great staff.

Update: Thank you for the response. I can guarantee you everything stated in my review is true and honest, and I have no desire to disparage Dr McMickle's reputation. A staff member was present in the room at the end of the encounter. The doctor raised his voice at this individual, as well. The front desk receptionist could overhear the encounter as the exam room door was open at this point. She indicated her awareness verbally and non-verbally. I am sorry if you have taken offense at this review. I just wanted to update my review to verify I am not a scammer or AI bot. I am grateful my family member has now found a new provider whose demeanor and knowledge are exemplary. Thank you again for your reply. Very disconcerting experience. He kept my family member in the same prescription for years, trying to encourage them to have surgery. He said they wouldn't be able to see well again without surgery. They tried another doctor who majorly changed their prescription and couldn't get over how wrong Dr McMickle's prescription was. They're now seeing very well, and surgery was not needed. Dr McMickle was very angry at my family member for, essentially, disobeying his orders. He screamed at them, shaking, red in the face. This behavior is highly concerning. His staff heard and saw this. They were horrified.

Dr. McMickle has great bedside manner, he makes you feel at easy right away, I have chronic dry eyes and thought this is what it's going to be for the rest of my life, he educated me about home treatments, OTC treatments and also RX treatments, he starts with conservative treatment first, if that work we will be doing more advanced treatments. He's very knowledgeable and honest, so happy I have this office

Dr. McMickle is amazing! He explained well and prescribed PRP eyedrop for my dry eyes. Finally, I got my normal eyes back. Thank you so much, Dr. McMickle!! The staff is so polite and very helpful!!

Dr. McMickle and his staff are the best! I was recommended to him by our friends when we 1st moved out here 2 years ago. I can't say enough about this man. I had a problem with my eye sight for a few years before we moved and everytime i told my doctor back home he said i was fine. Dr McMickle listened to me and after test he was determined to get my eye sight right. I ended up going to a brain surgeon an having to have a MRI which determined I had a tumor on my pituitary after surgery I now have my eyesight back! Thank You again Dr.McMickle! Your the best! Dr McMickle is amazing. He was able to do surgery and remove an implanted lens another doctor out in after cataract surgery. The implant was the wrong lens and was a permanent lens. I had it about 5 years and he was able to get it out and replace it with a better lens! I just had an issue with my eye and was worried I was having retinal detachment and he went to his office on a Sunday just to meet me. He said better to be safe then sorry. I don't know any other doctor that would do that. Amazing!!!
