I had an appointment at this eye doctor's office scheduled for 4:20 PM. By 4:50 PM, no one had communicated about the delay, so I approached the front desk to ask for an update. The staff member told me she didn't know how much longer my wait would be and couldn't find out, and that my only options were to continue waiting or reschedule. I explained that I would have been more understanding if someone had proactively communicated that the delay would exceed 30 minutes. I asked if there was any estimate on how much longer the wait might be, but she said there was no way to know and made no effort to inquire or offer reassurance. Ultimately, I canceled my appointment and will not be returning. I understand medical offices can get busy, but communication and respect for patients' time matter. At the time, I was the only adult waiting, and there were a couple of children in the lobby who appeared to be waiting for a parent. Despite this, no effort was made to acknowledge the extended wait, apologize, or provide options beyond a dismissive response. The front desk staff member I interacted with came across as short, unaccommodating, and unwilling to assist further, which left me feeling that my time and presence as a patient were not valued. I also observed similar interactions with other patients that felt abrupt and unhelpful. Clear communication and considerate service are important to me, and unfortunately, this practice did not meet that standard.

This was our son's first visit. The office was clean and the atmosphere was nice! The receptionists and medical staff all were so kind and helpful! I even called multiple times to schedule his appointment, then again to confirm time and insurance, then again to change my set appointment times, they were so accommodating and extremely patient with me and my crazy schedule etc. Dr. Dickerson was very thorough, not rushed at all and helpful, answered a hundred questions, explained everything like it was a presentation, my son was fascinated by the pictures of his eyes and all of the machines. They are so good with kids too, at the end the ladies even patiently stayed a little after their lunch break started to wait for and help him pick out some cool glasses and we were on our way! Thanks soo so much!

My kids and I have seen Dr Dickerson for over 9 years. He is the most caring knowledgeable optometrist I've ever seen! He genuinely cares about your well being and provides personalized treatment plans. My kids were in elementary when we started going and now they are young adults with much better vision! The entire office staff is WONDERFUL!!

Best experience ever with an optometrist and their staff. The optometrist is down to earth and easy to talk to and gives you his full attention. The front desk ladies, the technician and the lady that helps you pick out your glasses, always have a smile on their faces and you wouldn't even know if they are having a bad day. They know their stuff and are on it/ never had any issues and I appreciate that. I'm usually in and out within 30-45 min because they do not overbook their patients.

I love this place. If my last optician was this good, informative, and friendly, I wouldn't have waited four years to update my prescription.

Dr. Dickerson saved my vision! I visited for a routine check up and paid $30 for their retina photo. This isn't covered by insurance since it is considered "preventative" care. I am so thankful I paid the 30 bucks! He discovered that my retina was partially detached. I had surgery soon after and the detachment fixed. Him and the staff are very friendly and I highly recommend them!
