Dr. Lopez is amazing! He has been seeing my daughter since she was 3, now 8. His entire staff has been excellent with her, especially when she was nervous about the eye dilation drops. They show compassion, empathy, are very quick, we have never waited long for our appointments. Dr Lopez is very thorough in checking the eyes and gives all possibilities and solutions. He has been wonderful and I cannot recommend him enough for all your eye needs, I completely trust him! He's also funny, very kind, sweet and likes to laugh and always makes my daughter and I feel very comfortable! Fantastic doctor and staff!!

Dr. Lopez is Great!! We love the interaction he has with our daughter (3yrs old) to make her and our experience more comfortable. He was thorough and helped us understand our daughter's diagnosis, which puts our minds at ease. Highly recommended. :-)

Highly recommend Nevada Eye Physicians! I've worked in healthcare for 16 years and know what kind of care we should expect. The front office staff, clinical staff and Dr. Nelson Lopez all exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr. Lopez was very personable and playful during his assessment of my five year old son. This put my son (and me) at ease. Dr. Lopez took the time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explain his diagnoses and what to expect moving forward. I appreciated that the appointment wasn't rushed and I left with a good understanding of my son's condition. Overall positive experience!

Dr. Lopez (Opthomologist) was so wonderful with my 5 year old at her first eye exam yesterday. She is very shy and fearful in medical settings due to other chronic diseases. Dr. Lopez was kind and spoke directly to her in a playful way, asking her questions about her stuffed animals. That opened her up to his great approach to pediatric care. We look forward to him seeing my other child in glasses, for upcoming yearly visits. Fantastic work Dr. Lopez!!!

We arrived on time, signed in on portal in the lobby. There was an issue with our insurance cards and the receptionist went on the website and fixed the problem. She even had a wonderful smile on her lovely face. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us !! The whole visit from start to finish was amazing.

Long trip but was good experience. Bout 20 miles from my home. But staff n Dr Lopez was great. *** The CK in system should be changed only lets you CK in 20 min prior. Should be at least 30+min. But all good. All Thanks

Dr Lopez is amazing. I brought my toddler in for an acute issue. He was so kind and gentle, he waited until she felt comfortable with him before he started anything. He demonstrated what he could on me first and even got her to smile. When we got home she told me the eye Dr was fun and normally we are leaving a Drs office in tears. Check in is kind of weird but they have really streamlined their processes.

Dr. Lopez's "bedside manner" is second to none! He was very personable. Check in was easy. Wait was not too long. (our appt. was at 3:30, we arrived at 3:10, saw the dr. around 4:15). My only complaints were regarding the woman who did the initial testing. She seemed kind of miserable & completely unaware of what "regular check up" means, she didn't take a second to ensure the child's glasses were clean/tell us to clean them prior to vision tests (they weren't), didn't bother to change the numbers that she was asking the child to read for any of the vision tests (left/right/both eyes, larger and smaller numbers - all the same). She seemed incredibly rushed and as though she didn't even have time to change the numbers or wait to see if my daughter's 3-D vision is ok. She didn't seem to care if anything was accurate regarding the vision tests. It seemed like maybe the office was over booked bc of how rushed, unconcerned and extremely unhappy she seemed. I was left wondering if the tests were accurate and why she didn't check for estropia...I'd give her zero stars and Dr. Lopez and the rest of the office 4-5). It was shocking that Dr. Lopez was the opposite; taking time to chat w/ my child and ask how school was and if she is excited for Christmas break & Christmas presents...he was really nice and the people who sell the glasses at the next counter were also very nice- taking their time to process the order, despite the transaction beginning 8 min prior to closing, at 4:52. I really just have to hope for the best bc my ins is about to expire so we don't have time to get a better/more accurate or more thorough vision test anywhere else at this point.
