Yesterday, Feb. 19,2026 I had my appointment at New Eyes Las Vegas. The staff were polite, and I appreciate that the doctor told me I do not have glaucoma and that I don't need laser surgery, which is good news.
However, I felt that the appointment was rushed. The optometrist did not clearly explain everything, and I wasn't able to ask all my questions--especially about the cause of my headaches. I left without a clear answer regarding why I am experiencing them.
I also have another appointment scheduled, but I would prefer to see an ophthalmologist (a medical eye specialist), not just an optometrist. I am hoping to get a more detailed evaluation and clearer explanations about my condition.
I hope future visits will allow more time for patient questions and better communication.

Dr Pizio IMHO is the best in the area. She is professional, a great communicator and located in several offices. I had my cataract surgeries at Pecos/Warm Springs. I love that the surgery center is in one building and office in another BUT in same location. Many Doctors are in an area but have cross town surgeries. Anyone having cataract surgery is older, hates driving and going to more than one location for services. I talked with some patients in the waiting area and discovered some folks come from other states because she is so excellent. Thank you Dr. P, you are the best and I love seeing the world clearly.

Dr. Kwong and his staff go above and beyond. Yesterday I wasn't able to attend my mom's doctors appointment like I normally do. Dr. Kwong a moment to call me directly to go over all my mom's results and update on her medication. And then he transferred me to the front desk and we schedule the appointment right over the phone. I feel like most doctors were just send an elderly woman on her way and she wouldn't remember anything that was discussed at the appointment.

The staffing and especially, Dr. STAFEEVA all receive 5 star rating. From check-in yo check-out every one knows the job performance and it is well done by each individual. As for Dr. Stafeeva, the woman needs roller skates! How does she keep up with herself and each and every one of her multiple of patients is beyond me. She is very diligent, caring, and one of a kind in her field. I'm so happy for her new adventures with husband and children; but I am truly going the miss this amazing doctor and her expertise!
