Our whole family comes to see doctor Hilaire, we love her; she is always extremely kind, friendly and knowledgable. We had another positive experience as usual and we were called back right on time. The whole staff was polite, professional, and helpful. Office manager Mandee patiently helped us choose and fit our new frames. They also keep their office very clean!
Dr. Hilaire is amazing! She manages to be an amazing Optometrist being both professional and friendly. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful...CONSISTENTLY! You're definitely not just a number at this office. From the beginning you're treated individually and with respect and kindness. (Also sooo many frames)
Amazing! I hurt my eye last night and was worried all day that something could be wrong with it. Dr. Pressley and her staff were able to get me in right away today to make sure I was okay. This was my first ever visit and I was blown away. The customer service and professionalism here are outstanding. I've never left an eye exam raving about a doctor or staff before like I am now. Would highly recommend! Moving forward this will 100% be my regular Dr/office. I loved it here.
You know your Doctor cares about you when you have an appointment two years later and she remembers you. I could say how nice and friendly she is, which is true, but in today's fast paced (what I call "Cattle Call") treatment of patients, Dr. Pressley is Refreshing in how she sets each patient apart in their care. Then for icing on the cake, she speaks with her staff to make sure they know exactly what she is prescribing for your eye care. I was so impressed how they kept notes from my last appointment two years ago making it much easier in my selection of what I prefer when selecting my lenses and frames. Were they nice too? Heck yes! I don't believe Dr. Pressley would allow anyone on her team who isn't polite, knowledgeable and helpful. And after 2 years, to see the same staff members, identifies a peaceful work environment which then is reflected onto their patients. And finally, if you walk in and their office is busy, don't worry. They'll make you feel like you're their top priority and only patient there.
The experience we had here and I include everything from the look of it from the outside, where it is located and that environment, (very big on that) to the greeting area which is the waiting room its medium size which I like, I recently took my brother for an eye exam at Shepherd Eye Center, and the place had probably 75 seats in it to hold people this place was not like that. So when the girls greeted us, I have to say they were all very, very nice and not overly nice just professionally nice which personally I like. The reason why I'm stating all this is because this appointment was for my husband, so I wanted to be there with him, which was fine, but it was a two hour visit for him- and me, so everything really had to be right otherwise I would've been miserable waiting. I have to say it was very nice. It was a good experience. I waited out there by myself. I didn't mind. Nobody had their phone too loud. No one was playing music too loud because those things distract me and kind of annoy me, If you had a question, they answered and didn't mind that you interrupted them while they were working. Regarding the eye doctor themselves there was two doctors, only my husband could attest to that and so this review will be continued. This is part one. I have my appointment set for after the new year and then I can let you guys know if the eye doctors are on point. Until then.....thank you for reading!!
I can't express enough how wonderful Dr Pressley and Kristen have been in assisting me to get Eugene (Butch) to a specialist. He lost His vision in his right eye and unfortunately, Dr. Pressley could not determine why or what the reason was. She and Kristin worked very diligently helping me get him to Center for Sight specialist. They were absolutely fantastic, thank you!
Update!
I received a call from what I'm assuming was the office manager. She informed me that the situation was being handled and that new protocols and processes were being put in place. She reassured me that everything was under control, which made me feel much more comfortable. I absolutely love this optometry office and would hate to have to search for another one.
I would love to give this facility 5 stars as Doctor Pressley is so wonderful! The staff on the other hand not so much. I arrived to my appt 10 min late which yes that was my fault. The lady that helped me was so nice and we were able to reschedule my appt for another day and time. The two ladies behind the the front desk were just standing around doing absolutely nothing. One of the ladies was talking low but loud enough for me to hear her say that we need to watch this patient ( this patient meaning me) to make sure she doesn't get angry. I'm a black woman so to say something so disheartening is tragic. The racial profiling is very unacceptable. Just because I'm a black woman doesn't mean I'm an angry person. I've been going to this office for over 10 years and never been disrespected in that way.
TLDR: Loyal customers for years, but the doctor proceeded with the July 2025 exam despite my wife reporting her eyes were watery, a known cause of inaccurate results. The resulting prescription was +0.50 diopters too strong in the left eye, making the first set of expensive lenses unusable. This error was confirmed by an independent doctor and, subsequently, by the original doctor's own re-test. The original doctor also failed to reconcile the large prescription change with her stable 2024 history. Due to this mistake and lack of acknowledgment, we were forced to buy a second set of lenses (incurring a total cost of $600+), and we are no longer trusting this office with our vision care.

Our family has been going to Optic Gallery Aliante for several years, but our most recent experience has been incredibly frustrating, costly, and disappointing.
At my wife's July 2025 appointment, she told the person who checked her in AND Dr. Presley that her eyes had been watering that day. We've since been advised that, during vision exams, watery eyes can make refraction results inaccurate. Despite that, the doctor proceeded with the exam and finalized a prescription that turned out to be far too strong, particularly in her left eye.
The new glasses were impossible to use. The discomfort didn't improve, so we went to an independent optometrist in November 2025 for a 2nd opinion. That exam clearly showed that the original prescription had over-corrected her left eye by +0.50 diopters.
We then returned to the Optic Gallery Aliante for a re-test later that month (we did not inform them that we'd received a 2nd opinion/exam). That exam produced a third different prescription, again inconsistent with the independent findings. This re-test confirmed that the original July exam at Optic Gallery Aliante was inaccurate. During this exam, my wife did mention that during her July exam, she mentioned her eyes were watery.
We feel that at this point, the doctor should have recognized the clear discrepancy between the July exam and their November findings. The difference was significant and should have immediately indicated that their original prescription was in error. We've since had this confirmed as an obvious error that Optic Gallery Aliante should have acknowledged. Instead, we were left with inconsistent prescriptions and no acknowledgment of the issue.
Furthermore, when my wife returned to Optic Gallery Aliante in July 2025, the doctor had access to both her 2024 prescription and the new 2025 exam results. We believe and have been advised that the marked difference between the two (2024 and 2025 exams) should have prompted a review for potential error. ESPECIALLY since my wife communicated twice at the July 2025 visit that her eyes were watery, a condition known to distort refraction measurements. This discrepancy should have been caught during the exam, rather than resulting in an incorrect prescription.
Because of all this, we have now paid for two sets of expensive ($600+ total) progressive lenses, and my wife dealt with months of eye strain, discomfort, and unnecessary stress. We used the 2nd doctor's prescription for the 2nd pair of lenses, which are perfect.
After years of trusting this office, this experience left us questioning the consistency and accuracy of care provided. We really expected better, especially given the circumstances.
