Optic Gallery Eastern

I went down there about two months ago to get some contacts. first they told me I had to pay out of pocket because I had used my insurance on glasses. I called my insurance and they said it had renewed a couple months prior and the contacts should be completely covered. I go back to Optic Gallery they tell me oh yes the contacts are covered. The moment I tell them I had never worn contacts before, magically they were charging me an additional $70 for a "contacts tutorial" and like another 160 because suddenly my contacts were considered specialty contacts and were only partially covered by my insurance. Not having worn contacts does not make your contacts special. So, I cancel business with Optic Gallery, watch a free YouTube video on how to put contacts in and go to another eye doctor. Bam, my eye exam and contacts are fully covered as they should have been. Total scam at this location, honestly. Don't waste your money.

I highly recommend Optic Gallery-Eastern. Dr. Felix is awesome..!! Dr. Felix has great bedside manner, she actually takes the time to explain all procedures in your exam and encourages her patients to ask questions. The staff was very helpful and they opened the location on time and was ready to receive customers when the front doors opened. Again, I highly recommend Optic Gallery-Eastern. Keep up the excellent service.

I've never felt my vision as clear as it is today! I no longer have to search for someone that can literally give me my sight back. Thank you! The entire staff is pleasant and Dr Felix' expertise is outstanding!

This was my second visit for my son and the service was horrible. The girl named Joselyn at the front desk was extremely short and her energy was horrible as if she didn't want to be at work. I really don't understand how people work in reception or customer service and don't have any sympathy for the people they are there to help. We arrived about 5mins after the 10min grace period in there so called policy. That she would not show me in black and white.( Which by law it is supposed to be shown when asked to see it. )There was absolutely no one in the lobby and she would not allow my son to be seen. She kept saying that he could be seen if the next appointment did not show up. How do we have to wait for a no show when we are here and it's very shortly after his scheduled time. His glasses are broken and he needed this appointment so badly. We will not be returning and I can't help but feel it's because we are black. The energy was very off and she was rude as soon as we walked in. I Do not recommend, especially if you are black. We have to start taking our business where it is appreciated. No matter the service needed.

Great and friendly staff specially Dr. Maria Felix professionalism is superb! I didn't wait long I got attended right exact at my appointment time.

Found them on Yelp and they were such a kind staff! Just recently moved here and needed an eye exam. front desk was super friendly and the doctor listened to all my concerns and made sure i did what was best for me. the whole process was perfect!

This was my first eye exam, EVER. Since we changed insurances my son needed glasses and I noticed myself my sight was getting a little less than and have been straining my eyes to focus harder. I feel Optic Gallery on Eastern did a great job took their time with us explained each procedure, then showed us what glasses our insurance covered. I was happy with the selection we had to choose from as was my son. Recommend this place!
