I called to make an appointment but my insurance was not under my name. The employee Sam went out her way to ensure service was still provide. She located my insurance and provided me with a great exam. She was amazing with confidence and great communication. She is the reason I will be returning. Thank you Optic Gallery Decatur. I was even given this lovely gift bag

Horrible customer service!!!! I had glasses stolen on the bus off of my face! And because they were not broken I was denied replacement immediately the lady I spoke to did know the definition to simple words! Our education in employees who work at these establishments needs to be a lot more strict! There are other companies that have so so much better customer service!!! I would not recommend this company for your needs to be taken care of! They are just another company ripping Americans off!!!

I booked an appointment here earlier this week and was genuinely excited to see a new optometrist. I arrived 15 minutes early, but the greeting I received was anything but welcoming. A visibly annoyed woman came to the front desk told me there was no appointment scheduled for me, not today or any other day. I calmly asked, "So what's next?" She replied in a tone like I was inconveniencing her: "Not until next Tuesday." I quickly checked my work schedule asked if there was anything else. Her response? A dismissive "Wellllll..." with zero apology or effort. At that point, I asked, "Am I bothering you? You seem like you'd rather be anywhere but here helping me." She stared at me blankly and said, "I'm just telling you, you don't have an appointment." At that point. I told her to forget it, I'd find another provider. Dr. Cheung may have great reviews, but they're completely overshadowed by the unprofessional front desk staff. Losing a client might not matter to much, but maybe bad reviews do. Dr. Cheung, find someone who WANTS to work, and would be happy to great your clients kindly.

I have severe social anxiety, I have to say that The staff went above and beyond for me , making sure I felt OK and were extremely professional. I would recommend this office to everybody. I give it five stars and if I could give more, I would ..Words cannot describe how comfortable they made me feel Nor how much I appreciate them.

Lovely office with super patient and kind staff. I took a rowdy 5 year old boy and a rowdy six year old with special needs and they were full of energy today. Every person treated us kindly and with patience and got it done. Appreciated endlessly and I'll get my husband and I in now .

If I were you, I would not book an appointment with this facility in particular. They sent the paperwork through text & did not explain all the details when I went in for my appointment. I ordered a pair of glasses & not even 2 hours after my appointment I called to cancel the order. I was told it was taken care of but the following day they called & said I couldn't cancel & had to pay for the reminder of the glasses I no longer wanted. When asked about the return policy, they said it was "in the paperwork" which was not reiterated to me before signing for the order. I would go with any other optometrist facility, if possible. I can see why this facility was able to get me in so quickly... Optic Gallery on Eastern & Oquendo has much friendlier & more knowledgeable staff!

Wonderful experience as a first timer with Optic gallery Sahara. Dr. Cheung was wonderful, and the staff was always helpful and kind. I highly recommend to anyone this location at 2580 S Decatur Blvd.

Simply the best! From beginning to end, everything about the appointment is top notch- check in, exam, and the amazing doctor explains absolutely every about the change in prescription or necessary modifications. The office staff helps with every step & is extremely patient with new frames & all of the financials pertaining to insurance. I have been coming to this particular location for several years even though there is an Optic Gallery within 3 miles of my home because the doctors and staff actually make for a "5 star" appointment experience!
