Red Rock Eyecare

I had a great experience having my annual eye checkup. The receptionist was very nice and knowledgeable. She explained all the important information to me and was very professional. The doctor was great also. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had a wonderful personality. I will definitely be returning for my yearly visits.

Tried to make me pay for extra exams for a prescription they already gave me, then refused to give me a copy of the prescription even though I already had the exam done stating I have to pay for a finalization eye exam before they can release the prescription to me. Never been to a place that tried scam like that. Go somewhere else.

Dr is nice that's it. Receptionists were not friendly at all. I needed a different brand of contacts to try because I work outside running heavy equipment, it's dusty. One of my co workers told me this different brand name, same prescription that worked well in the dusty conditions. Anyway I ordered some contacts and the Dr denied my prescription. I purchased my contacts from him before and now he would not get his cut. Plus when I ordered contacts from him last time it took over 3 weeks to get my order. Only good thing is the Dr is nice, don't go there for quality or to get your needs met because they are there to make money and could care less about your needs.

My husband had an appointment last Saturday. The girl at the front desk was on her personal cell phone the entire time I was waiting while he was with the doctor. She was talking about her sister and broken couches and using choice words.When we checked out she didn't hang up or put phone down or make eye contact. . The girl to the left of her was also staring at her phone.I am old school and office staff is the first point of contact with the public. To be ignored is rude and unprofessional. Customers should be greeted and acknowledged with a smile and made to feel welcome. The doctor was great.

The doctors are great if you can get in to see them. Plan on a 45 minute wait after your scheduled time and the staff is very rude and must be overworked. I said perhaps I need to find another eye doctor the office manager said that "would be great!"

I really wanted to like this place. I think the employees that work inside the eyeglass world portion of the store are great. It's the staff inside Red Rock Eye Care that need work. When I got there for my appointment, I stood there for almost 5 minutes without being acknowledged. And then throughout my initial exam with the technician it took a long time because she didn't know how to work the machine. Fast forward to 2 days later when I go to order glasses online and I realize that the cylinder and axis values arenot on my prescription. My axis measurements should be on the prescription at the very least since I have astigmatism. I called to address this. The woman at Red Rock Eye Care asked me to wait on a brief hold. I said I would. She kept me on hold for over 15 minutes and never came back. I've called several times since my appointment and no one ever has a record of me calling (conveniently) and I still don't have a prescription I can use. So now I'm contacting my insurance to try and address this debacle since Red Rock Eyecare won't.

Pretty disappointed! Before driving to this location and even purchasing my insurance policy, I called to confirm, benefits and coverage. I was told everything with glasses and contacts would be covered with an allowance. When I arrived, the women at the desk who claims to be the manager Began to have an attitude and tell me I would owe $40-$60 for a Contacts fitting. I pulled up my benefits and showed her what's included and says nothing of sort. She said was well. This is what it says on my end. Not helpful at all and I don't appreciate the mistreatment. I came here from my referral of a friend and out of convenience. I called , the office I normally get an exam at and they told me the opposite. I would owe nothing. I was prepared to purchase glasses after my exam, but will not be giving any of my business to this company.

Been coming here for a # of years for annual exam. After last year's visit I was pretty much 'done' due to horrible front office staff. Place I was looking at going moving fwd didn't answer phone calls the 2 times I tried to get an appointment so back to Red Rock I went. Well, the current crew in the front office now is super: Nice/friendly, professional, & proficient at their jobs. I've never had a problem with the Doc here, he's always been very nice & zero issues with scripts from him over the years... same still now. What's different is the staff. Based on my last visit I will 100% recommend this clinic at this time.
