Shepherd Eye Center

My appointment was scheduled at a specific time but I waited in the waiting room for over an hour with no contact from the team members. I spoke to the manager who went to check on what was going on and why I had not been called for my appointment on time. There were delays but no explanation was given to my satisfaction. Once they finally called me back again the delays in following the protocols necessary for the exam. I was finally seen by the doctor who was not what I expected. He was okay but I am now looking to find a new Eye Doctor due to lack of empathy and no explanation from him as to why it was such a long wait. I am very upset that they make so many patients wait so long for their appointments because they only move at slow and snail pace not considering the importance of the patient's time. I understand the appointments are a minimum of two hours long, but the system is quite flawed and should be re-evaluated to accommodate the needs of the patients who wait for long periods of time and possible health issues can occur if you have any medical conditions that require action. After I was seen by the doctor, again they sent me to the waiting room to wait to check out and get a copy of my eyeglass prescription. I waited another fifteen minutes while the staff did not care how many other patients were waiting just to check out and get the information they needed. There needs to be a better system and workflow since they service two separate practices. Many patients trust these doctors, and they need to help get the processes and wait times reduced to help with patient struggles.

It was a pleasant experience. The staff were great. Dr Ho was very helpful. A test was done which I did not have before. Dr. Ho explained to me in detail about the test results. I recommend Shepherd Eye Center!

Dr. Lee is a rockstar and the rest of the staff at Shepherd eye is awesome as well. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. They help me and a medical emergency to save my eye, and I couldn't thank them more. I would recommend Dr. Lee and Shepherd eye 10 out of 10 times

Shepard Eye Center is now who I go to for eye care. They are a step up from CFS since my coverage does not accept Center for Sight. In many ways they are similar but Shepard's Eye care Specialist are there when you need them. CFS seemed to have interum staff. My doctors changed and I received different ones with each visit. I learned that keeping my appointments was very important. Shepard is by far my best experience in eye care health.

Eyes have been blurry since getting cataract surgery by dr rosen..eyes were borderline..i saw fine except for reading...not anymore. Have gone in three or four times..he said dry eyes, other dr ..inflammation ( i could barely open my eyes)..I went in yesterday at another location..saw dr reddy..very personable, knowlegable and able to answer all questions with insite..wish i had this dr at first..actually knew what he was talking about..i was impressed wirh his very calming demeaner and advise...he picked up the fact that i had eyelashes growing into my eye...thus causing the soreness..recommended glasses for driving.. wish dr rosen had properly explained the consequences of having one eye for reading!!!..cant see anything w that eye except to read..wish i had just got glasses! Right Eye soo much better after visit w dr reddy.

I had my cataract surgery w/Dr Rosen at the Post Rd location. He's kind, caring, and honest. My experience with docs in LV is usually that the doc is great but the staff sucks, but not here. Everyone is very nice. If you need your eyes checked, Sheppard Eye is a good way to go.

Very helpful people. Laurie scheduled me asap for my eye pain. Dr Peterson is the best! Very good bedside manners, explains well and does not make you feel rushed. I have very good experience with Shepherd Eye. Highly recommended.

I was lucky to get an appointment quickly and found my experience at Shepard Eye Center to be excellent. As busy as they are, I found every staff member pleasant and welcoming. They talked to me as a person, not just a "birthdate." Dr. Theodosis was pleasant, professional and encouraging to boot. I was treated very, very well, and the surgery experience was exceptional. I had no ill effects or discomfort at any time, even in the immediate aftermath of the surgery. And, I liked the way they pursued advance approvals, AND fact that their policy is to notify you in advance of any co-pay over $50.00. A great policy. I couldn't be more satisfied and more grateful.
