Me &+ my whole family go here as will our newest baby be going at 6months for his 1st visit. Their GREAT about doing our appointments together so my husband doesn't miss more work. They have a GREAT selection even for state insurance!! This will ALWAYS be our families eye doctor until Dr. Raczek retires I would probably even fallow them if they changed locations all staff there are super friendly and try to help you with everything they possibly can help with even if it's calling insurances for you their all just AMAZING here !!

A great place to be: the staff is always incredibly helpful, ensuring that I can get in, be evaluated, discuss frames and lenses, and head on out. Less than 2 weeks later, I can drop in and pick up everything that I ordered. If any adjustments are needed to glasses frames (say if they're uncomfortable somehow) I can even stop by at any time during open hours to see someone who can help me. Many optometrists nowadays seem to sacrifice the quality of their business to save money- but not here. The quality of this establishment does not falter.

Dr. Raczek is a terrific optometrist and an even better human being. He is honest and trust worthy. I have always appreciated him as a medical professional in helping me make the best decisions for myself and my family members.

Firstly, I visited Dr. Raczek's office a couple of years ago to get my eyes checked for the first time in my adult life. The eye doctor that helped me find the right prescription was phenomenal. She was very thorough, explained to me that i had a lazy eye and an astigmatism, and very poor vision in one eye. She instructed me that i should always wear glasses with safety lenses simply to preserve my good eye. I could not have been happier with my visit. Now the reason for the poor review: I went back a couple of weeks ago because my prescription expired and i needed new frames. I arrived on time and one of the front desk woman helped with the initial eye exam. Just like last time, i am practically blind in one eye. I waited for 35 minutes after that in the examination room for the doctor. I understand that things happen and people can get behind, but what ensued after the doctor had arrived is the real problem. The doctor arrived (I don't recall her name) and seemed very rushed. She proceeded with the examination and after testing my eyes for maybe 3 minutes max, she sat down at the desk. She explained to me that she believes that i do not need glasses. My left eye sees so well that it does not need assistance and my right eye sees so poorly that it cannot be helped. She explained that she will provide me with non-prescription safety lenses to protect my left eye as I had requested... I asked her about my previous prescription. She didn't realize that i had a prescription and decided to try that. After putting the proper lenses in the machine she was surprised that i did indeed see much better out of both eyes. She never tried to make any improvements from there. The problem i have with this is simple. If i had not gone 2 years prior i would have left that visit thinking that my vision is what it is and cannot be improved. I would have thought that i do not need glasses. If i had not suggested that maybe we should try the prescription that i was already prescribed, the doctor would have never come to that conclusion on her own. This is a huge problem and basically a misdiagnosis. I never leave bad reviews, but i thought this one was worth it. I have never met Dr. Raczek, but i hear that he is great. The ladies at the front desk are great. The woman who helped me pick out frames was fantastic. But i can cannot recommend this office after this experience and i certainly will not be returning.

They squeezed me in for an appointment same day of my call which was amazing when others said they were booked through June! Super friendly, great selection and very happy with my visit! Definitely will continue to go here.

Dr. Raczek has been our family doctor for several years now - he is very thorough, his staff is very friendly, (never an attitude!) and super helpful! They all are very knowledgeable as well!

Dr. Raczek and his staff are always very kind, helpful, courteous, and explain things thoroughly. I always feel like I am in good hands.
