Dr. Jonathan Ditkoff: A Exemplary Physician! I cannot recommend Dr. Jonathan Ditkoff highly enough. His immediate care most likely saved my eye. I recently had a very urgent situation, he took me in right away, demonstrating an unparalleled level of commitment and urgency. What truly sets Dr. Ditkoff apart is his incredible dedication, even before I was an established patient. He took the time to personally call me to discuss my situation and ensure I received the necessary attention, showing a compassion that is rare in today's healthcare environment. I felt Dr Ditkoff was very informational and explained everything really well. He was very busy that day so I will say he is a Kind man for the time I got to know him. He also explained they do everything there & he has his own retina specialist which now I know! I can go to him for everything, meaning back of eye and front . It can be a long wait si be prepared. They are very thorough.

The Eyecare Center of NJ offers the highest caliber of eye care. The staff is friendly, helpful, and puts you at ease as they greet you, gather intake information, administer eye exams, and other necessary tests. Dr. Ditkoff is a dedicated professional who is highly skilled, personable, and easy to talk to. He shares all pertinent information with you and if you are having a procedure, he makes sure you understand what it entails and goes over any follow-up, home care instructions clearly and completely. He also patiently answers any questions you might have. At times, because it is a busy office, there is a bit of a wait but in the recent years, the wait time has gotten much less. I highly recommend the Eyecare Center of NJ for all your eyecare needs. There is also a wonderful eyeglass store (J. G. Optical) connected with it for your glasses needs.

I came in for a check up and after about 30 minutes, I had already been in there and checked and dilated and then sent to a third waiting room where I sat for about a half hour.... After an hour and 15 minutes being there, I went up to the front desk and I asked how long this would be till I see the doctor and they said they still had a bunch more people in front of me and that this would probably take a minimum of two hours... So another hour, I had to wait just to see the doctor.... I had asked if the doctor was behind and running late. Multiple people said no..... So if the doctor was not running late, why was he an hour behind?.... Maybe less small talk with all the elderly clients and move from one patient to the next so people aren't waiting there for multiple hours..... Again, this was just a standard check up. At that point, I could not wait another hour and I had left. I walked out..... I don't mean to be rude or anything, but this was just very unprofessional. Bottom line it should not take two hours to go in and get a check up for an eye doctor or any doctor for that matter.

Recommend Dr. Ditkoff, love the way he treated my mom and I. Very outgoing doctor. Medical assistants were awesome. Can't say the same for the reception area. The old lady that gave me a follow up appointment was so rude. She straight chose my appointment time and date. Since I saw she didn't bother asking for my availability so I told her my availability, she still ignored me. Then some other lady walking by rudely said that's all we have. I understand appointment availability because I work in a doctors office as well but they don't have to be rude about it or give an attitude.
