Visionworks Doctors of Optometry

Visionworks is a great place for eye exams and lenses. I've been going here and have always had a positive experience. The staff is awesome--friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to guide you through the right options based on your needs, whether it's for glasses, contacts, or an updated prescription. I also appreciate that they offer Saturday appointments, which makes it super convenient for busy schedules. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality eye care and excellent service!

A great team of professionals. My visit was smooth and quick. Securing an appointment was easy, the reception staff was welcoming, and the exam was thorough. Dr. Patel clearly explained how my vision has changed and that my current lenses are now "too strong" causing my "blurry" vision. Nancy helped me find the perfect frame for my new lenses, which I am looking forward to getting in time for the Holidays. I highly recommend this Visionworks location, you will not be disappointed.

The sales guy was very professional and courteous. As soon as I walked over he called me over. He got up out his chair and showed me the different prices in frames. He took the time to look up my insurance and pleasantly tell me what was covered. He professionally took the measurements of the lenses. He is a perfect employee!!!!!

I hate that I need to wear glasses and this store perfectly exemplifies why. I made a 9AM appointment on line. I arrive early and the office doesn't open until 9AM. So I wait. They finally opened the doors at 9:05. It wasn't until 9:30 that I was actually brought in to see the doctor and her staff (I then had to take a business call that caused another 5 minute delay). During my wait, they take all my insurance information. This is important because I changed jobs last year and this is my first time using this particular insurance. I had specifically chosen this location because they are, I think, owned by my vision insurance company. Anyway, I spent this time looking at the glasses. That was why I was here. I pick out a couple options, because I'm not clear on my insurance, and will be ready to go after exam. It's important to note the doctor side of the business was great. The doctor and see staff were wonderful. The get my all checked out and get my new prescription and send me back into the store. The so called "salesperson " says find some glasses and come back to her. I grab what I think are going to be an affordable pair I like. She starts into the options they want me to try and purchase - without at all talking about costs or insurance. I am also in sales, having started in retail sales, so I immediately recognize this as a shady sales practice. I then I find out why - I ask her to talk about my insurance benefits in relation to the price. She says I was only approved for the exam, saying I have no benefit approval for glasses. I say that this is not correct. Salesperson shrugged. I left, not to be ripped off by this scam. I get into my car and call the insurance company. Before I have left the parking lot (which was its own nightmare of a place) I have the issue resolved and by the time I get to the next place (who were awesome but out of network) they can see my insurance. Would not recommend.

Great experience. The doctors and techs were awesome . Very knowledgeable and respectful. Dr. Patel was super nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. We were also helped by Oliver. He was super patient and helped my wife and I pick out frames.

It's always a pleasant experience coming to this establishment for eye care. The staff here do a great job accessing the patient's needs with quality and care. I've been a customer with them for over 10 years and I'm treated like family because they remember me. The supervisor there, I forget her name, is top notch. I wish more retail businesses had management like her.

I had a great appointment experience today! The staff and Dr. Patel were incredibly professional, patient, and friendly. I hope to see Dr. Patel at every visit. I truly appreciate everyone who worked with me throughout my appointment and made the experience so pleasant.

This is the place (Broad Street in Bloomfield, NJ)to go to receive great service. Dr. Patel is amazing. She is very thorough, gentle and compassionate. She is glad to answer any questions you have. The lady at the front desk is amazing as well. She also was very attentive and professional. She processed my glasses order smoothly. She definitely knew her job. I thank them for a great experience. I will see them next year.
