Closter Eye Care

I went there almost 2 years ago. It was the first and last time. Dr. Kim is the best but the receptionist was very rude. They took my $480 and sold me scratched glasses. I noticed it the same day and took it back, they checked it and saw the scratches, said they would make a new one and you can get it in a week, I can't see well without my glasses and I had to wait another week before I could see well but they gave me scratched glasses again (This time it was in a different place), I called the same day immediately but nobody responded than I texted them. The girl at the reception was very rude and disrespectful and said they checked and there were no scratches, I looked at them in the sun as soon as I got home and said there were. She said you must have done it. I said, what are you talking about? Am I crazy? Why I would scratch my own glasses also I bought the glasses from you and came home, I haven't even used them yet, how could I have scratched them? I called them and receptionist responded, i was expecting apologies and solution but she blamed me, we argued and she hung up on me. I am 52 years old and I have never experienced anything like this before. It's very hard for me to live without my glasses but according to the receptionist, I scratched the my glasses myself when I bought them. They sold me a faulty product but the receptionist tried to cover up their mistake by making me look like a maniac. This hurt me even more. Everything is in the messages. Pictures of scratched glasses are also available. I didn't delete them because I thought I would complain.

They are also very skilled at pain management, making even the most complex procedures virtually painless. Scheduling appointments is always easy, and they are very accommodating with my busy schedule. The clinic maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, which is especially reassuring. Dr. Donald Kim is professional, knowledgeable, and a true gentleman. He patiently fitted me for best contact lenses that i have had in years. Closter Eye Care has a wide selection of contemporary glasses as well. The office is neat, clean and has up-to-date equipment. Dr. Kim's staff is courteous and helpful. Parking is easily accessible, and the office is conveniently located on the main street. Closter Eye Care also has late hours several days. I am a new client and highly recommend Dr. Kim and Closter Eye Care.

Dr. Kim and his staff went above my expectations from the moment I stepped into their practice until I had left. Dr. Kim was willing to take the time to answer any of my questions, as well as making sure everything was done properly/thoroughly. He made sure my contacts fit perfectly, and assured me that if it felt off at all over the next few weeks, he would double check the fit at no extra charge. 100% recommend!

I've been a patient for a couple of years at Closter Eye Care, and I have to say that I love the service they provide to the patients. Dr. Kim is absolutely the best as well as the receptionists. They are very professional and take great care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Kim and Staff were beyond amazing. The staff spent so much time helping my girls find the perfect glasses to compliment and fit their faces. Dr. Kim is thorough, professional and kind.

This has been my primary eye care for almost a decade and I have to say that Dr. Donald Kim is an excellent optometrist. However, the change in receptionists have led to terrible customer service. I have never had a problem with previous receptionists until now. Due to this, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
