A Truly Exceptional Doctor! My first visit to Dr. Danielle Strauss came after seeing specialists at both NJ Retina in Springfield and the Retina Center in Englewood. The doctor in Englewood was considered one of the best in New Jersey, and his credentials reflected that -- but something was missing that I couldn't quite identify until I met Dr. Strauss. From day one, Dr. Strauss stood out for her kindness, patience, and thoroughness. She took the time to clearly explain my diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, what caused it, and what I could do to help protect my vision. Before performing my retinal surgeries, she explained each step of the process -- what to expect, how long recovery would take, and how to care for my eyes afterward. I've now had surgery on both eyes with Dr. Strauss, and the results have been phenomenal. I continue to see her every two months for eye injections to reduce swelling caused by diabetes, and she always provides the same high level of care and compassion. Dr. Strauss has truly restored my trust in the medical profession. She is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also deeply caring and attentive. Her dedication and surgical expertise were evident throughout my treatment, and I am beyond grateful for the results. Even though I've received calls from other facilities inviting me back for follow-up care, I've made it clear that I've found the right place -- and the right doctor. Dr. Danielle Strauss is exceptional. She is very knowledgeable, confident and caring. My husband had a detached retina which required emergency surgery. Dr. Strauss acted quickly and surgery was very successful. We are very grateful. Highly recommend!
