Bergen-Passaic Cataract Laser and Surgery Center LLC

No complaints only praise forthe nursing staff and doctors. But the scheduling is inconsiderate at best. Had two procedures. I was told to be there at 8am for the first, 7am for the second. Each time I waited over 2 hours to even be registered. There is no excuse for this. The staff knows how long people will have to wait, why not show some caring and consideration and schedule timing more accurately. Everyone in the waiting room was complaining, yet it seems from other comments that the complaints go unheard. I do not know that I would chose to have anything done here again.

I had my first cataract surgery yesterday and while there is a wait when you get there, everyone is kind and considerate as there are a team of doctors performing many surgeries, so there will be a lot of patients waiting to be seen. Once inside, the team of nurses and doctors were thorough and informed. They worked hard to ensure I felt safe, seen, comfortable, and they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend this place to have your cataract surgery.

Yesterday 4/23/2025 I had emergency retina surgery @ this facility. I found the entire staff from reception to post op to be kind, caring, professionals. Special thanks to nurses: Jose, Rosemary, & Leslie Dr. David Kim, and Dr. anesthesiologist. 5 stars for sure

I was concerned after reading the reviews, but my experience at Bergen-Passaic Cataract Laser was wonderful. The receptionists were friendly and right in top of everything. Then intake person was also very nice and also efficient. The nurses in pre-op were just lovely and so caring, and my doctor (Dr Najarian) is amazing. I had an excellent experience here

Bergen-Passaic eye center was excellent all the nurses and staff were so nice and accommodating the nurses in particular were so kind and caring including the anesthesiologist she made you feel so comfortable I highly recommend it CP

My husband just had surgery today the nurses are great but one lady in the receptionist area is rude. Even talking about the nurses not in a good way. I should have gotten her name. She should be reprimanded. She is the one sitting at the desk that you see right away when you open the front door. People in the receptionist area should be accommodating Fyi she is not the one who worked early this morning ( the one who lives just next town over she is nice and accommodating)

I had cataract extraction in both eyes three weeks apart. I did not like this place from the minute I walked in - for the first eye, I waited hours after the IV was administered - no tv or music to distract us - just lines of beds with people staring into space. Even though I had one of the earliest appointments they seemed extremely uncaring - nobody said why there was a tremendous holdup - instead they were going about their daily chores while talking and joking around. Horrible experience - also had wrote down the wrong phone number for my husband to pick me up - they just said "he doesn't answer" until I called him myself. Their foremost interest however was extracting money from me - that they did very well! Second eye was not quite as bad but definitely toxic vibes from that place! Would not recommend the facility to anybody.

Arrived at 10:50 for 11:00 appointment and was told there would be a wait. They bring you in two hours ahead of time so you can sit in the waiting room and watch TV. Finally, was escorted into the prep room where eye drops were administered and readied for IV. Spoke to Doc:" You're next". AT 1:45 I was told that they were not going to do the procedure for reason s which they should have known before they made the appointment. Inexcusable!!!!! Poor communication all around between facility and Doctors. Am I pissed!!!! BETCHA!!!!
