Dr. Nicholas C. Trotta, MD

I am a Medical Assitant. I took my mother to this Doctor in the Union city location. Mind you, my mother is a spanish speaker, We went to the exam room and Dr Trotta started the eye exam. He posted a projection and asked my mother if she can see the letters and she said "I see it but it blurry", his nice medical assistant translates what mom said to him and he rudely answer "I only asked her to tell me of she sees, not if she sees blurry, that's something I figure it out". His medical assistant saw my face reaction and I clearly saw hers too, I noticed she felt embarrased. Then, why become a Doctor if you dont pay attention or let your patients tell you how the feel? very disappointed! We are not going back there. Mom kept saying he feels something is covering her left eye and he kept saying "She has nothing" Clearly Dr Trotta doesnt listen to his patient, 1st impression counts on this field, and I wont refer my patients to to him. Staff is really nice, the 2 ladies upfront were very professional.

Dr. Trotta is an extremely skilled physician. He diagnoses accurately and has an extremely large knowledge base. Physicians like Dr T are few and far between. He was taught in an age where he learned all aspects of his field.

Do not trust to this doctor he's not able to do his job he's 82 years old he's not on time ,charge for no reason his telephone disconnect seems like he's not able to pay for his phone. I made a mistake check my eyes by him.

Very rude eye doctor, heard it in his voice when I called for the FIRST and LAST time. Unprofessional.

He was the best eye doctor. God rest this sweet man
