Not kid friendly at all. I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Wise and within the first few minutes him and a nurse began basically holding my daughter down to dilate her pupils without telling either one of us what they were doing. Before our visit I had promised my daughter I would not let the doctor dilate her pupils because it's a terrible experience for her. I know that you can complete an exam without the dilation. When I told the doctor to stop and that we're not comfortable with the dilation, he became visibly enraged in front of my daughter. He said, "well I don't know why you even came in then." I was actually speechless. He then proceeded to continue his exam and then ended up telling us her eyes are perfect. I honestly think my daughter was a little traumatized after the visit as was I. If you aren't good with children, please don't advertise as an ophthalmologist for children. Terrible place and terrible person.

Not the best first time experience, from the get go once you walk in that office the atmosphere is very tense, who ever was the "helping" you with glasses made you feel very unwelcoming and made you feel uncomfortable, doctor was ok, seem scatterbrained. Don't waste your time.

We had a good experience at the office with our 6 year old. Dr. Wise is friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Office staff was helpful.

My wife and I had our first experience with Dr. Wise and it was not a great one. My wife has been trying to confirm the best options to resolve a chalazion however we left with more questions then answers. We were referred him from another patient and wanted to share our experience to let other decide if he is the right doctor for them. The appointment started fine but when we mentioned we were looking for a second opinion is when things turned sour. He was quick to answer a few things but before we knew it he was already trying to leave the room when we mentioned we were from out of town. We spend quite a bit of time locally so we figured it wouldn't hurt to get his help since we come back often. The engagement ended with my wife very upset to the point even then technician had questions for why the doctor acted the way he did. Dr. Wise did call me back but was more focused on just repeating himself then apologizing for rushing her out the door. We will never be going back and it is quite a frustrating experience.

Dr wise is by far the best eye dr I've been with him for years. And I was born with a lazy eye , that I been told all my life that for my childhood eye doctor that it could never be fixed. Until I was introduced to Dr wise. He is specialized in this , where I had 6 surgeries and he got the insurance to pay for it , because they see it as cosmetic surgery. Not only that. He dose his own surgeries. Very rare that u fine an eye dr that dose surgeries as well.

We have been here twice now for my son who had an issue with one of his eyes. We were pleased with the service from Dr. Wise. However we will not be going back due to the rudeness of one of the staff members who took my son back. She was rude and acted like i was a crap parent cause the office called a script in wrong for my son and we couldn't get it. However we followed the doctors protocol otherwise and the dr decided at this visit the prescription was not even needed. when it comes time and we need to visit an eye dr again we will Go elsewhere.

Just had my appointment here for the first time. I previously saw an ophthalmologist for the past few years in Absecon (he that shall not be named...but if you know, you know). Overall, I am personally satisfied with the facility, staff, optometrist, and of course the doctor himself. I can only share my experience which I feel was quite thorough and was explained clearly what was going on and why, and how best to proceed going forward. Any questions of mine were answered. No matter what... your experience will be your experience. All I can do is share mine with you...personally but also and always objectively.

Had to get a second opinion. Dr Wise did not advise me that I had cataracts. He told me to continue using the Systane eye drops. After I complained about my blurry eye twice! I'm very unhappy with Dr Wise. I will not go back to his practice.
