Dr. Roslyn Stahl

Update: When I spoke to the manager the issue was resolved. I like Dr. Stahl - but I called 3 days ago and left a message for the Prescription/Insurance person who never called me back. I called again today and explained that I needed to get my eye drops refilled, but my insurance wasn't covering it and the cost was close to $800. The woman on the phone (who handles prescription/insurance issues) literally said to me "what do you want us to do about it?" I explained to her that they need to contact the insurance company to get authorization as my previous doctor at Wills Eye Hospital did quite a few times (with 0 problems) and I had my prescription by the next day for a normal co-pay. The woman at Associates in Eye Care told me I had to contact the pharmacy and get them to send over a pre-authorization form. When I went to CVS they said they don't send pre-authorization forms to doctors. And explained that the doctor's office needed to call the insurance company to get authorization. CVS did send over a request to the office for an alternate prescription. In the meantime, my prescription is completely out and I have a serious eye condition that needs consistent treatment. So to recap - no call back, I got a "what do you want us to do about it?" from the person who is responsible for dealing with insurance who gave me incorrect information about how the pre-authorization works. If I don't get this resolved quickly I'll have to switch to a different practice. Again - this is not Dr. Stahl that I have an issue with - she's been great.

I can see clearly now! I am completely amazed by the results of my cataract surgery and have so much gratitude for Dr. Roslyn Stahl and everyone at her offices at Associates In Eye Care and River Drive Surgery Center. She was so knowledgable, skilled, patient, caring and empathetic. The whole staff was very friendly and kind. Prior to cataract surgery, my vision was 20/80. Now it's 20/20! While results are different for every patient, I can say the quality of care here is top notch!

Dr. Stalh best Doctor ever.. I had eye surgery, On both eyes. I never saw better.. No problems no complications... Excellent staff.. friendly and professional atmosphere.. My most sincere thanks to all.
