Louis has been taking care of us for about 15 years. He is extremely kind and very knowledgeable about everything related to glasses. He always helps us choose the right frames, and we learn something new every time we visit. Thanks to him, our family has always received excellent guidance in selecting and properly adjusting our glasses. We can 100% recommend this store because of Louis.
The staff was awesome. Marisa the optometrist was great with helping me select frames according to my prescription level. She was really nice, patient, and informative regarding my choices in lenses. A great disposition and personality. Because I was indecisive of my choices in frames, the two other ladies joined us to give their opinions on which one looked great, suited me and my personality or the look I was going for. Nylissa, I believe, was one of them and the other young lady, unfortunately, I can't remember her name. All three were exceptional. Very great customer service. Kudos to that staff!
So I had to get a new glasses after 1 year because my lens were scratched on the in side .Keep in mind I was out of the warranty window but as a regular customer I taught I would that they would put that into consideration but no . Keep in mind I take care of glasses and keep in the case at night .the first time I went in a few days ago they guy told me that the film that darkens when the sun is out was peeling and nothing can be done so I did order a new pair however when I went the second time they said it's scratched on the inside and ask me what happened as if I knew exactly knew what took place .l felt I wasn't treated fairly so $1100. In a year .
I just want to give some honest feedback and hopefully help another customer avoid a similar experience like mine. On January 19, I visited LensCrafters as a first-time customer and left feeling extremely uncomfortable and dismissed. I have a very high prescription due to a unique eye condition this isn't new to me but no customer should be made to feel ashamed or like there's "no hope" because of their prescription.
The biggest issue was the customer service. The assistant manager, Nalissa, who repeatedly made a point to tell me she was the assistant manager, which came off as intimidating especially since it was clear I wasn't happy with how I was being treated. Instead of feeling supported, I felt judged, rushed, and spoken to in a condescending and dismissive way.
I understand my situation may take extra care, but professionalism and basic kindness should still be the standard. Because I have limited options for where I can fill my prescription, I felt stuck tolerating an unpleasant experience. I'm leaving this review so others with high prescriptions or complicated needs can be prepared either by going to a different location or by setting expectations ahead of time.
I will say: if you can, try to avoid the assistant manager and ask for another associate. Noel was personable, patient, and genuinely understanding. His kindness helped Me forget about my embarrassment of having this Unique medical issue
I have been a customer for decades, however my last glasses developed cloudy films making them difficult to use. I have been wearing glasses for 52 years and this is the first time I have experienced this problem.
I went to the store on route 22 in Union where the purchase was made and showed the glasses to Mr. W. who told me the films are from heat. I told told him I wear my glasses all the time and this could not be from heat. He then asked if I use Window cleaner to clean them (I felt like he was calling me stupid). I told him NO, I have glasses cleaning solution. He asked me if I bought it at Walmart. I could not believe where this conversation was going. He told me I needed to replace the lenses. I told him I have a prescription and walked out of the store. The interaction was condescending and judgemental, my problem was not addressed as he could not tell me why for the first time this happened.
With 52 years for wearing glasses and the thousands of dollars I have spent on and off at Lens Crafter, I will never go back!

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at LensCrafters' eye exam location. This was a complete waste of my time, energy, and effort.
Before even scheduling my appointment, I called 2-3 times to make sure eye dilation would be available. I was told, "Yes, we do dilate, but we need to check with the doctor." No one warned me of any restrictions or time limitations. So I went ahead and scheduled my appointment for 5:00 PM.
I arrived at 4:40 PM, clearly on time, and again requested eye dilation. Only then was I told that the doctor would not dilate my eyes because they close at 6:00 PM and supposedly "don't have enough time."
Let's be real:
They told me dilation takes 20 minutes.
There was over an hour left before closing.
The real reason? They had other patients scheduled and cared more about rushing people through than actually providing proper care.
This place is clearly about quantity over quality. They prioritize packing as many patients as possible into their schedule instead of respecting what each patient actually needs.
I had to take time off work, and my husband had to leave work early to drive me home because dilation was supposed to happen. Rescheduling is NOT easy for me, and none of that mattered to them. No empathy. No accountability. If eye dilation was not available after a certain time, that should have been communicated before I booked my appointment. Instead, I was misled, inconvenienced, and dismissed. This experience showed me that this location does not care about patients, only about profits and filling time slots.
I will never return, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who values their time, health, or basic respect.
Unfortunately, my experience with the glasses was a disappointment. I purchased a pair of Prada glasses, expecting high quality for the premium price. To my surprise, the logo faded quickly, which made the glasses look cheap. When I returned to the store, I was told I would have to pay full price for another pair if I wanted to replace them.
I expected better durability and customer service. Instead, I was met with no consideration for the issue. Honestly, I could've bought a pair of similar glasses from China for a fraction of the price and avoided this hassle. I been a customer over 20 years.
Update: After posting my review, the store manager reached out to me personally. She was very polite, understanding, and professional. She even mentioned that she owns the same glasses and understood the issue. She kindly replaced the temples for me at no extra charge. This turned what started as a frustrating experience into a positive one.
I truly appreciate the manager's kindness and willingness to make things right. Thank you for the great customer service and follow-up!

Nelissa is absolutely amazing. She is patient, helpful and understands her job really well.
She helped me with my frames selection, patiently checked all my options, considering my insurance and ensured I was satisfied with the services I received.
Subsequent to glasses pickup, same 10 over 10 treatment. I will definitely keep coming back here because of the great service I received and top notch satisfaction.
