I went here for an exam recommended by my primary at the time. I haven't been to NJ Retina in almost 2 years. I was just surprised with a collections notice in the mail for over $300. I never received any phone calls or additional bills in the mail from them. But they put me in collections. Laughable. Stay away from here.

2nd review. This is a follow up to a previous review! I am a former eye medication study patient. This week I had a follow up after many eye injections! I am about a year from the last injection My eye continues to be stable ! I am so grateful !
Dr Chinskey is the ultimate professional! He first makes you comfortable and is always pleasant. He explains the exam and his findings as well as reviews your optho pictures ! He advises on follow up and future plans ! Completely happy with the care I received in this practice !

Went in for a repair to a retina tear that was identified by an optometrist. Repair went well and I was recovered in a fees hours.
Three days later I started having headaches around my right eye, constant ringing in my ears and excessive floaters. Mind you I did NOT have floaters before the procedure.
I went back for an another exam and was essentially told that there's nothing wrong with my eye and the headaches and ear ringing were from stress. They also said the floaters are "normal" even though I did not have any before the procedure.
If you value your eye sight, Do not go here. I'm heading to Wills where I should've gone in the first place.

THE BEST in every way, Dr. Chinsky interacts with you in a friendly, professional manner, so as to give you the very best treatment available. The girls in this office are absolutely lovely!! Kind , compassionate , patient and caring! They literally treated my mom like a member of their own family! Deidra especially stood out to us! She made sure my mom felt comfortable before her eye injection. Dr.Port is exceptional , too! Explained to us every detail of what was going on with moms eyes and made sure we understood what was going to happen with her treatment plan. We cannot rave enough about this office! I had to bring my infant son in today as I took my mom for her second appt and they didn't make me and him wait in the waiting room - they let us come back and we're SO sweet to my baby! All the girls came in and said hello and how cute he was. We really felt like we were at a friends house. Dr.port talked to my mom as he put the injection it so she didn't even know it had happened! THIS office is the Epitome of professionalism and kindness. Thank you thank you thank you!
