Omni Eye Services: Grayson Douglas K MD

The absolute worst! I was scheduled for cataract surgery with Dr. Grayson. Arrived for surgery, prepped, numerous eye drops put in, IV put in, hooked up for vitals. All ready to go into surgery and he cancelled (why didn't he cancel the hour prior to all of this). Wasted a PTO day, eyes dilated for hours. Rescheduled for 2 weeks. The day before what was supposed to be my second surgery, but was now my first surgery, received call to be at surgical center by 6:30 a.m. next day. Several hours later, call to cancel again! Will never ever go back there. He has no concern for what he has put his patient through. So unprofessional for a doctor. He showed no regard to the patient for canceling 2 times in a row.

Dr Grayson is an awesome professional who performed my surgery with ease and excellence. He is in high demand for that reason he has created a system where everyone does what they do best. He is not the Dr performing post surgery evaluations and they have expert technicians for testing and evaluation but everyone who did provide support was a true professional. Omni is a large facility with many doctors and many patients so be aware of that. Honestly I was surprised initially since as another evaluator said it can give an impression of an assembly line. I intimately noted they provide quality work and at the end of the day I decided that was more important than anything else. They did a great job and I see better now than I have ever seen using only the lens paid for by insurance.

I felt everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. This is a well oiled machine, you could say "factory" line surgery but I'm sure all well run facilities are like this. My first surgery was running about an hour late due to a difficult surgery before mine.Dr. Grayson was reassuring during surgery. I have no complaints.

The wait time is ridiculous! They take you in 1-1.5 hour after you have checked in. The. The slow process begins with the staff shuttling you from one test to another waiting room where you wait for dr Grayson to see you! This may be the last time I am coming here, staff is good but apparently the wait time has been brought up to dr Grayson attention but he has don't nothing about it! I have been coming here for 3 years but I am done! I have a full time job and it takes 4-5 hours easy!

This basically a cataract warehouse . You are treated as a number. They missed glaucoma and serious dry eye. The surgeon walked into the OR wearing a mask. Never met him. Post op was not good My eye swelled seriously large, abnormally . I was seen by an optometrist. When you have eye surgery. A ophthalmologist should see you Because of surgery. An optometrist is not a MD and not a surgeon. I was in a lot of pain . I finally went to a different ophthalmologist. It took months to resolve the sever pain. When the new doc did my other eye, no problems at all. I am a retired APRN, DNP, PH.D

Appt was at 11:15am. Almost 3 hours later still here and yet to see Dr Grayson. This is a horrible system. They do not seem to care about their patients time. Won't be back to this practice

This one star is not about the Doctor as I have not gone to him yet. why can't I see and read reviews for this Doctor? the google review site allows me to give a review but not read them.

Dr. Grayson did a fairly good job in my cataract surgery - bit swelling but went away. The major issue is waiting time due to poor management . It took almost 2 hours in waiting area.
