Mellish Eye Associates

This is a very nice office with a very friendly staff and Dr Mellish is great and not by far as pressuring as most of them. The only slight problem was that they never told me I needed to bring my old glasses and Dr Mellish sent me home to get them. Then when I came back, I was at the tail end of the line. Other than that, I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The staff was friendly and very helpful in filling out new paperwork. While I was sitting in the waiting room I noticed how patience they were to others too. The wait was only 10 minutes. Dr. Mellish is the Best! I got great care and wonderful information about my eyes. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've been a patient there for some years but I've got to be honest here, I will be finding a new eye doctor in the future. I like Dr. Mellish alot as a person but I simply cannot afford to continue going there for contacts or glasses. First, I was told I would receive a rebate for my contacts of $160 which was on my receipt and invoice. Then, after I paid $300 for my contacts and another $200 for glasses (AFTER insurance benefits) I received a voicemail from one of the receptionists that the rebate was only for $60. When I called back, I actually talked with Dr. Mellish and he told me the rebate is for $70 and one of the girls made a mistake. He said he would split the difference with me and refund me $45. (I just found out today that the rebate IS only for $60) I appreciated that he at least called me back personally and I agreed to the $45 only bc I was having a tough day and really didn't have the energy to argue further. Considering that the contact lens "fitting" and evaluation and follow up appointment (which was never scheduled) took literally 12 seconds and wasn't covered by my insurance and cost an unbelievable $148.00, I decided from the moment that I would not be back to Mellish Eye Associates. In addition, one of the receptionists there was extremely rude to my mom, which, if that was my only issue, would be enough for me to never go back. I'm actually getting angry again typing this bc you don't talk like that to my mother and I just let that slide. I thought I was a valued patient there for years and it's really sad it all went down like that. The only reason I'm writing this now, is so that other people who need to see can have a chance to go somewhere remotely reasonable and not be misled. Really disappointed. Hopefully, they read this and take it to heart and do better for their patients in the future. Unfortunately, I will not be one of them.

Ladies at the front were very.."snoody" , if you don't like your job get a new one! Doctor rushed through my appointment and I was shown a rack of glasses that were "covered by my insurance" but I ended up having to pay $75 for one pair. Canceled my order the same day and went to Americas Best instead(saved me $5 and I got 2pairs instead of one) ... Was told I would get a check I the mail... Needless to say, it's been a whole month since I canceled me order and still no refund..? Not a happy camper

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DR. MELLISH AND HIS STAFF Donna and Sandy! The ladies are extremely helpful and accommodating! They do the best they can to meet your availability,& work around your schedule!! Dr. Mellish is the most down to earth Dr. I myself have fortunately had the pleasure to meet! Not to mention all the years he has had his practice right here in my hometown!! There's nothing like going to any Dr's office and feeling as comfortabe as u most certainly can, let alone the Dr. And their staff actually take the time to have N enjoyable conversation with the patients!! I recommend his services to anyone who. Asks, "do you know of a good eye Dr? " "HANDS DOWN, DR. MELLISH! I have his # memorized! Would u like me to give it to you??" Everytime they say YES!! Keep up THE GREAT job Dr. Mellish, Donna & Sandy!!

The staff are all nice people and Dr. Mellish is on the ball and very knowleged . I love thae fact if I have a question it gets answerd fully and and understandable. Not every one can understand every thing aboout an eyes and well I am kow higher educated from Dr. Mellish. I asked a question about a certain disease of the eyes and if it was inheritable . I got my answer. Dr. Mellish is very personable. Your comfortable when there .

They are amazing with all their services and very personable. Our whole family goes there for these reason and more.

Both Dr. Mellish and the staff were all top notch.
