Balfour Eye Exams

The receptionist here is minimally helpful. Very unprofessional, has loud conversations while waiting, and we feel an honest review will help Mr. Balfour help his team acquire proper professionalism. Thank you.

Staff is plain rude and will only change their face if youre paying with cash. I also bought glasses from here twice and both of the frames were crap. The first one was really crooked and screws kept falling out of the frames. The second one had one side of the frame wobble like it wasnt screwed in right, i went back to see if they can correct it and they dont do refunds or exchange and the best they could to was heat it up and shape it to my face as best as they could. Not to mention I paid $250 for everything. I went through two pairs within 3 months, i dont recommend this place. It also needs a bad update on everything. This place is running on fumes.

Dont recommend here. Always call to make appoinment for eye exams. Then they always tell me Doctor is sick and wont take appoinments. Til end of next month. Been doing this since jan. Then march. Then they said til end of june. Now they tell me til end of july. Just say u dont want to work and just sit there to take a easy paycheck. Tired of this BS.

I picked out a frame, told them what i'd like on my glasses Saturday, February 1st. Was told it'll be done on Monday. Went back to pay for the glasses, i asked if it was done. Then was told they'll call me, waited til Friday for a call. Then found out the lady at the front didn't save my number when i gave it to them. She told me it hasn't went to the lab, then told me next Monday (yesterday). Now its over a week ov them saying it'll be ready tomorrow. Im really frustrated with them, they had a whole week to get the glasses ready i paid for. This is the first and last time im going there for glasses. Lady at the front was dismissive and doesn't care. Go anywhere except Belfour in Gallup NM

The place is the best. The dr is nice and also the ladies. This is my go to spot. Esp when my contacts rip. Thank you!

I had a negative experience with Dr. Balfour's office. Two of my co-workers recommended them for glasses, so I decided to get mine from them. Unfortunately, when I received my glasses, I couldn't see out of them. When I contacted the office, the lady I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. She only told me to take them back to where I got my eye prescription. I asked for a refund, but she refused and hung up on me. I feel disappointed that I wasted $320 on glasses that I cannot use. All I want is to get a refund back from them for the $320.

Dr. Belfour and his staff help a lot of people that live here in Gallup. He is a seasoned veteran and is good at what he does. I've come here each time to get my prescriptions renewed. You can't beat the prices! The office accepts walk-ins only and they serve first come first serve when they open in the morning.

I went there for a walk in for my contacts. My contacts tore so I called and one of the receptionist was rude about it. I was being nice and when it comes to me, I don't do rude. I got mad at her. Gave her the same attitude she gave me. I don't like being mean but they need to replace that receptionist. The Eye Doctor was amazing, kind and funny. Very nice. He just needs to replace that receptionist.
