Dr. Immanuel is a true professional. My Opthamologist had recommended him and I felt very comfortable in his care. He took the time to explain things and answer questions. The support staff were equally top notch. My only complaint is the wait times to see the doctor. A typical visit would last anywhere between 90-120 minutes, with most of that time sitting in waiting rooms either waiting for the support staff to do testing or for the doctor himself. That issue needs to be addressed. The patients time is also valuable.

Dr. Emmanuel is an excellent doctor. Fully experienced, knowledgeable physician. He takes his time to examine and explain to the patient what he is going to do and what the results will be in the end. I will recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great ophthalmologist physician.As far as the waiting I understand why because while he's doing my examinations he doesn't rush to get to next patient he takes his time and make sure you understand the whole process.

I recently had LASIK with Dr Immanuel I was so scared prior to going in but am so glad I decided to go here. He explained everything to me that would happen before, during and after the surgery, before we set up the appointments. During the procedure he made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. I am so happy I chose to get this done with Dr Immanuel. He and everyone at sightMD was so caring and helpful during the whole process. I will definitely be recommending people to go here.

I feel that Dr. Immanuel has to improve " bedside manner" among a couple other things. While he performs surgery well, in discussing procedures and wellness with me , he rushes often.Hastens to see other patients while I still need explaining. Also, staff needs to return phone calls more promptly.The locations, i.e. Garden City, need a front desk phone #, instead of just a " calling center".Dr. Immanuel still needs improvement in "bedside manner" and friendliness "I just had my 3rd post-op follow-up after my 1st cataract surgery.

Been a patient of Dr Immanuel for many years so naturally when he joined SightMD, I followed. Dr Immanuel has such a calm and soothing voice. He welcomes questions and explains things clearly. He is on top of the latest treatments and gives you options. Sight MD itself is conveniently located by the hospital, clean and well staffed friendly facility and has many doctors available that provide a wide variety of specialties.

Doctor Emmanuel is a very good & thorough doctor, however the staff lacks the professionalism,
Organization and management skills. The entire process took 3 hours. They over schedule appointments, make errors, on patients exams, and misplace patients records which leads the patients to wait until they notice oh wait there is 2 patients left to see the doctor. Terrible experience

I honestly believe that Doctor David Immanuel was not having a good day. He was aggressive when giving commands and very impatient. I also believe that he realized that I wasn't happy about it and in return , he sent me on my way by saying I didn't have to see him again, that he didn't see anything significantly wrong with my eyes and to go back to the doctor who referred me to him. Overall, unpleasant experience, very unprofessional.
