I just came from Bascolm Palmer where I had a very extensive eye exam . I was there for about three hours. I went in for a contact exam with Dr. Chong in New York and he corrected my vision and helped me to realize that I was wearing the wrong contact lens strength for years. He explained to me about the health of my eyes. He gave me so much information that I really was not aware of. All in all I will still wear contacts at a much lesser strength and when necessary, a reader for computer work or anything that is more extensive. He's an excellent doctor great personality, most importantly. Thinks out of the box. Thank you, Dr. Chong I will come back to New York to LensCrafters once a year as I feel confident and was so impressed by your expertise. The sales staff as well were excellent and we're not pushy at all. Sincere gratitude,

Went to LensCrafters at Macy's Roosevelt Field Mall today with my family for our yearly eye exam. Dr. Amos Chang was very thorough with his exam, even delving into health issues and gave suggestions for maintaining healthy vision which I appreciated. We visited the location the day before and met Team lead Licensed Optician Dara who helped me pick out the frames I liked. The next day we all went in together and met team member Jayleen and Team Lead Optician Heather who was hands-on, researching every question we had regarding our insurance and what was offered to us, which gave us a better feeling of our choice to try LensCrafters.
We were very impressed with the welcoming and professional customer service we experienced at this location.
It's a bummer that there aren't signs leading you to this location, which is hidden in the basement. More signs are needed inside the store that will lead you to it.
I would definitely recommend this location.
