Today I had an amazing experience at LensCrafters in Roosevelt field mall. Eilyn was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive, informative, patient and understanding. All the information was thoroughly explained so you knew exactly what your insurance was paying and what you were responsible to pay. My overall experience was great and the manager, Michael Muroff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience if you ever need eyecare.

Had an optometrist appointment at this lens crafters. The Dr. was very good and thorough. Knew what he was doing and was patient. He then introduced me to a sales woman named Nadege to help me out with purchasing lenses. She was incredibly nice and knew what she was doing over there, very knowledgeable. She helped me pick out lenses and gave me suggestions then helped me to find the best deal she could get in the store. Incredible work very happy with my visit to this lens crafters in Roosevelt.

I was very lucky to meet Matthew Supovitz at your Garden City location. After visiting about 5 stores, I was amazed by his attention to detail and listening skills which allowed him to help me find the perfect style. Matthew also explained everything to me about the progressive lenses, so I would understand what the glasses could and could not do for me. His honesty showed his true character - It wasn't just about making a sale. At that point, I felt that I was in good hands. I think Matthew Supovitz is a total asset to Lenscrafters. Salespeople of his caliber are not easy to find.

The Roosevelt Field store they at work has a huge and varied selection of products to choose from. The Quality of products are outstanding and the return / exchange policy is very good. Eilyn was super helpful! We had originally bought frames at the Ray Bans store upstairs, but she informed us that she would be able to order us the same frames & even look into if insurance would cover them. In the end we got the same Ray Bans frame plus prescription lenses (w/ anti glare & blue light blocking) plus a protection plan for less than what we had originally paid upstairs for just the frames. She was so attentive & couldn't thank her more for her assistance!

I went to Dr Iris for an annual check-up. When I was being rung up, the contacts that Dr Iris had me try on were way more expensive than I was used to, with no warning that this was a pricy brand. At that time, I asked Dr Iris for two options for contact brands (for pricing reasons). I got the rude response "Seriously?? We would have to completely start over". I understand it must have been a busy or stressful day, but patients deserve to be given options. I ended up going to another eye doctor (paying out-of-pocket for an appointment) because I needed a cheaper brand prescribed.
The other eye doctor has me try on two different contact brands and offers samples so I can think on it and make the decision. They also give a price-range of each contact brand before ringing me up at the end of the visit (even a simple "this one is on the higher pricing end" would suffice). That doctor is located in the Costco Melville location which is a bit further, but well worth being respected as a patient and not being rushed out.
That being said, the people at the front desk and the people on the floor with the frames are very nice.
