For months, I suffered from debilitating eye pain and double vision. I couldn't drive, couldn't look at screens, experienced constant dizziness, and was extremely sensitive to light. I spent thousands of dollars trying to fix my vision issues with other doctors, and no one could identify the problem except her. My life felt like it was taken away from me, but Dr. Cheryl was able to figure out what was wrong and truly saved me.
My first exam was extremely thorough. Dr. Cheryl listened carefully to my struggles and made me feel understood and not alone. She is incredibly kind, personable, and intelligent.
Heather was also a great help when I transitioned into progressive glasses. She taught me how to use them properly and patiently answered all of my questions.
Aamna at the front desk always greets me with a smile and helps with anything I need. She is consistently kind and helpful.
Neuro Visual Center of New York is truly a wonderful practice. The people who work there genuinely care about you and want to help!

Dr. Zimmerman and the staff at the Neuro Visual Center of New York are exemplar eye professionals! Best eye exam I've ever had, I'm leaving feeling like my prescription and glasses are correct for the first time in years. Dr. Zimmerman was patient when I needed time switching between possibilities and super helpful in answering all of my questions. Holistic exam that also helped explain why my gait is off and why I have been experiencing light & sound sensitivity.
Hats off and will be recommending them to everyone I know who has been experiencing persistent vision difficulties. Thank you!!

Absolutely the best specialty optometrist you will find on the East Coast!! I've been a patient for a few years so this review is long overdue but Dr. Zimmerman's expertise and compassion are unmatched! I have been to every specialty practice you can imagine for my neurovisual conditions and Dr.Zimmerman was the ONLY doctor out of dozens who was able to help me. Wherever you are located they are worth the travel and the wait. Dr. Zimmerman THANK YOU for giving me a large part of my life back!!!

This place offer no help and it's really a rip off, I am A stroke patient and I have a lefteye Field cut because of that ., I Paid over $1000 out of my pocket, Thinking that my vision would be better to Regain my l Complete Vision, But Still could not figure out how to use these prism glasses it's been almost 4 months, there was no training given to me how to work and make adjustments with these Glasses since this is something very new and needs a lot of adjustments for practice,, when I call back and ask for any sessions about giving me any training they're asking more money and I don't have any extra money to pay on this extra cost because I am on a limited income now, I would never recommend anyone to go to them ,Doctor Israelloff was the one who I was working with , But very sorry to say she did not even offer any extra help to adjust my Vision with these prism lenses I am just so upset, Please don't Be caught with these New Big innovative businesses. They are just there to make money with these new products which we don't even know how to Use.

Origionally i gave four stars but sadly its not deserved. This facility is a rip off & although they gave me a script i was able to wear....Its not fair that after spending $565 to get lenses made in the frames i brought in myself, i cant even get a replacement. This is due to there 1 year warranty on scratched lenses. I had absolutely no idea my lenses would of scratched the way they did being that id always take care of them by putting them in a case. Ive also never dealt with scratched lenses, Im just really upset cause its money down the drain! the fact that its now past the time frame to get them replaced is really unfair. Attached are photos of the lenses where you can see the big scratches

I love doctor Marissa Zimmerman, she's young and easy to relate to. She addresses all my concerns, like dry eyes. She even recommended me a specialist to see for my problems. I love how she's so family friendly and she always offers me the latest eye drops that are currently out in the market, she even provides coupons or samples if she has them available. She does the examination very meticulously and through, I would recommend Dr Zimmerman to anyone needing vision care. She helped me with prisms for my glasses as well as punctual plugs for my dry eyes. Hands down the best eye docto. They also sell eyeglasses in their office, I think it's a bit more pricey. Also lot of things are not covered by all insurances. They also now require a deposit when you try to schedule the annual eye exam, I don't believe they had this before. Overall I'm glad I have doctor Zimmerman as my eye doctor. They even give you the prescription in case you plan to get your glasses made elsewhere based on your insurance.

Their ability to explain the condition in clear and relatable terms put me at ease and made me feel confident in the treatment plan. Dr. Zimmerman's compassionate demeanor and attention to detail are truly unmatched. I'm already noticing incredible improvements, and I'm so grateful to have found such a skilled and dedicated professional!. I can't forget Debbie either, she has been nothing but wonderful and professional.
