Absolutely amazing! From the moment I walk in the whole staff was very kind, gracious and considerate. I met kim so friendly honest and understanding. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy, and I lost my hair. I wasn't feeling great about myself. And I hate the glasses I currently have, Kim understood my situation and took her time and helped me pick out.,Not only one, but 2 pairs.! I HIGHLY recommend coming here. I had a fantastic experience at Cohen's Fashion Optical in Massapequa. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, kind, informative and Kimberly helped me choose the perfect pair of glasses. I had a deadline that I was trying to get them by, and she went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of. I had a similarly positive experience a few weeks prior when I came to add prescription to a pair of sunglasses. Highly recommend visiting this location.

Beware of FRAUD** I was seen for an eyeglass and contact lens fitting eye check on October 23 3025 and had a horrible and humiliating experience with one of the sales women who processes claims. She gave me a price for my contact lense fitting and told me it was not covered through insurance. When I asked her to review my records to verify what insurance I used from my last visit she found that I paid a higher amount and decided to immediately increase the out of pocket amount because "I paid more last time". I ultimately paid $130.00 plus the amount billed to my vision insurance for eyeglass prescription. After my visit I was harassed by another doctor who began shoving a transitions sample in my face where I had to ask him what he was doing??? I was also asked several times if I needed glasses after already explaining I was only there for the exam and script which they also gave me hard time writing....Following this I called to request several trials and physically went in to discuss with Candace DeStefano herself since she originally told me I can request as many trials as I want until I was satisfied however the issue I experienced was with the prescription change and contacts comfort. Today, January 15th at my follow up appointment in person I was told there would be an additional $40.00 fee for a "re- fitting" since allegedly I only had 30 days to return for a "re fitting". I told them to show me their policy in writing since that was never explained to me which they didn't. I Complained to these thieves that it is unfair to the customer and they attempted to request for my medical insurance which I refused to give them. I will be forwarding my complaint to the appropriate bureaus for refusal of medical care! While I was there, several thieve employees were discussing a similar patient situation.

I was a little Anxious to get new glasses. When I went in, I was greeted by Kimberly and before you know it, the doctor was examining my eyes. then Kimberly help me pick out a excellent set of frames and before you know it I'm all set in way under an hour, great service and a lot of relief from being nervous about getting a new set of glasses.
