How is this place still open they were only decent when Erin was working the front desk

I've been going here for years! Wonderful staff! Doctor is wonderful! I've never had a long wait time to be seen. In the 9 years I've been coming here I've have not had one bad experience!

My first appointment there earlier this week. No issues. Dr was friendly and listened to my concerns, answered my questions. Lady at the front desk was friendly and pleasant. Office was clean and bright.

This place should be closed down by now all the workers seem to be incompetent down to the doc. Every time my wife goes she sees him for about a minute in length after waiting god knows how long in the silent waiting area. What can you possibly determine in less than a minute no wonder my wife still can't see. This past weekend my niece went in to ask about contacts and the woman behind the counter told her and I quote 'if you haven't worn contacts before then go somewhere else because we aren't doing the exam necessary to determine the ones you will need nobody is but good luck'. And my niece does where contacts she just had a simple question about quantity and pricing. Talk about customer service I feel I should go in there and give a piece of my mind.

Completely disorganized. The doctor is barely at the office... the heavy set girl behind the counter is rude. I wouldn't go go back here simply bc (I think her name is adrinna) is such an unpleasant person.Mshewasnkt only rude to the customers, but her to her coworkers also. She has a habit of interrupting you before you finish asking the question. workers also. No wonder you always see a new face at the front desk. Go see Dr. SAUER IN MIDDLE, NY.

Not sure where all of the bad reviews are coming from, but I had no problem with these guys. I called for a script and they faxed it within minutes and they were very nice too.

Mid Hudson Optometric Association in Monroe NY. Beware !!!!!!!!!! I am nauseated. I went in yesterday (Nov25th , 2019).after getting contacts I called a week ahead to let them know the Rx needs adjustment on my right eye. First red flag : the name says Mid hudson Optometic! Second red flag: should have been when they told me trials were absolutely available for all Rx, only to find out they don't have trials for all brands ( oh so I'll have to order contacts to see if the Rx is correct ), third: red flag so. After letting me appear in they now ( this is my second visit ) begs for my medical insurance - and then says the visit isn't covered and oh wait for it ........, it's because He's not an ophthalmologist, he's an optician.! (I clearly asked you this before I showed up and made my appointment with this practice ). I also asked if you participated - not accepted. (Ask this specific question cause all facilities accept insurances, they will love to bill your insurance for out of network coverage if they don't participate. So ask do you participate with my insurance!!!! 1199 which is medical and GVS which is vision ins. I'm coming in for him too. ps, he is doing a recheck of the Rx. ( not a medical visit ). The front desk continues to ask me what's my medical ins . I keep responding nicely after the 10th ask 1199. Then I proceed to inquire why do u need my medical insurance. When this is a recheck of the Rx for the contacts ( receptionists: did you get the contacts here). Well, gee let me see! What do u think !!!!!!!! to say if the oh wait ( optometrist) observes me it $ 93. Wait a minute, So hold up my 1199 union covers in full all costs. This is a follow up not a medically necessary procedure . And u want to charge me $93 for him fixing an Rx that isn't right !!!!!!!! Is this a joke !!!!!!! This is unethical and without a doubt dishonest !!!!!!!!because a follow up is not paid for by insurances they wanted to charge for a medical service to get money out of me. Should I have made them to look like a fool and inform them that I have yrs knowledge in the Optometry field and start asking about CPT codes he intended on billing because this visit is what it sounds like ( a load ). I will never go back here and I will let everyone know how dishonest they are. As the front desk claimed the office manager is saying it's a medical visit - u ma'am ( u should be fired )! For coming up with such nonsense ! See my email and know this is going viral !!!!!!!!!

The Eye Doctor and his Staff were Great from Start to Finish. They were all very thorough and informative and treated me very kind.
