If I could give 100 stars, I would! I was referred to Dr. Ahn by family and friends who have had their cataract surgeries by Dr. Ahn, and their opinions of him (as well as their experiences) did not disappoint. Dr. Ahn is personable, professional and a credit to his profession. I was nervous about the procedure and about what I was to expect, but Dr. Ahn put my mind at ease. He patiently answered all of my questions beforehand and after the procedures. His staff is pleasant and Ivon explained everything prior to the first procedure, making this process smooth and easy. If you need cataract surgery, THIS is the provider you want! Thank you, Dr. Ahn!

I had cataract surgery on October 7 & 14 and it was an amazing experience. As nervous as I was before the surgery Dr. Ahn assured me there was nothing to worry about so rather than worrying about the surgery I focused on how much better I'd be seeing in a month or so after surgery. The day of the surgery my wife and I were greeted warmly as soon as we walked into the building and that continued until we walked out of the building. Everyone from reception the nurses and of course Dr. Ahn were amazing and explained every little detail preparing for surgery and during the procedure so there were no surprises along the way and this is why I think I was able to stay calm the whole time. Anyone who might be thinking about the surgery I would highly recommend Dr. Ahn and his team. I'm now a month post surgery and I can't tell you how I wish I had done this years ago 20-20 vision is amazing. Just focus on how good you're going to see after the surgery and I'm sure you'll be as happy as I am. Thank you Dr. Ahn!

Doctor Ahn and his team were great! The cataract surgeries went just like he said, no pain and went quickly. The folks at the surgical center were great as well. They were caring, they, and Dr. Ahn, explained things every step of the way and worked hand in hand with the Doctor.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes and would highly recommend this group. Dr Ahn and his team were very professional and kept me fully informed throughout the entire process. The surgical team were a delight as well.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Daniel Ahn. He walked into the room and said, "You have glaucoma. Make two appointments--one for additional testing and another for a consultation," and then walked out of the room. There was no review of test results and no explanation of my condition. I told him I have ongoing headaches, and he replied from the hallway that we would discuss it at my next appointment. Later, he called the front desk and told them to change the consultation to laser surgery. Based solely on communication from the front desk staff, I was told that I needed surgery. This is very concerning, as it appears he may be trying to make money from my insurance by recommending unnecessary treatment without proper explanation.

I frankly was a bit nervous about any surgery related to the eyes. This, however, cataract driven surgery went incredibly well. Now just over 4 weeks from the first eye being done, the surgery on both eyes is complete. My vision is basically at 20/20 with simply no issues encountered: no pain, no discomfort, nothing. Don't let your own fears get in the way of the benefits of having this procedure done by Dr. Ahn!

Dr. Ahn is a very experienced ophthalmologist that has provided me with good care to my eyes for many years. He recently did cataract surgery on both my eyes and did such a great job. He and his team at Horizon medical and Eastern Orange Surgery Center saw me through the whole process with expertise and sensitivity. I was in good hands and felt comfortable that my doctor had the experience to perform this surgery. The surgery was successful and I am happy with the outcome. Thank you to Doctor Ahn and his team for restoring my vision. I am happy to be able to see and read more clearly.
