Very pushy front desk sales people, refused to give me the eye wear prescription if I didn't buy eye glasses from them! The optometrist was amazing though! Kind, thorough and helpful.

I was very pleased with my 1st time experience here at New York Eyewear. Over the past few years I've had nothing but horrible experiences at my previous eye dr. When I got there they were very pleasant and welcoming. The dr who did my exam was so nice and explained things about my vision I never knew about. He also broke down each eye and how astigmatism works. All these years of being told something with no real explanation and now I have an understanding. There was another dr who sat patiently with me listening my concerns and helped with all the measurements to get the best results. Looking forward to getting my glasses!!

Phenomenal shop. I went in there to get my sunglasses fixed because I couldn't extract the screws with the tools that I had. They did the job in under 10 minutes and refused to take any sort of payment from me. I will definitely be going here for my next set of frames in about a month and my eye exam. It's refreshing to deal with pleasant businesses every once in a while.

Magic! I bought a pair of vintage sunglasses that were stretched out. They looked cool but they fell off my head. I expected the repair to cost quite a bit, but the people here are so awesome! Fixed! 10 minutes later. Thank you so much. And, remarkably, it was without charge. Excellent customer care. Thank you.

Today was my first visit here and I'm very pleased overall. They've got a great selection and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They're also knowledgeable and assisted me with finding a the right pair of glasses that I'm happy with and confident in wearing. A Plus!

I was very pleased with my recent visit at New York Eyewear. The staff members were very courteous and professional, and the optician, Deanne, is outstanding in her professionalism. She made me feel comfortable when I was selecting my eyeglasses, and I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a selection. This place is a gem.
