This doctor is caring, knowledgeable, communicative and easy to understand. Even though she has all of these traits, I mostly love that she is so calm and gentle, that I feel immediately relaxed in her presence. I started seeing an eye doctor rather late in life, so I was nervous initially, but not anymore! I see some complaints about the wait time, but you should remember she takes her time with EVERYONE and she will with you, too! Isn't that better than being rushed? Also, sometimes she is on call so that will make the wait time longer. I wish people would be more understanding and kind to this fabulous doctor. As long as I am living in the area, she will be my go-to doctor! Thank you, Dr. Guevarra!!

I love Dr G she is very thorough and very caring. She explains everything so the patient can understand. The staff is very caring too. I recently had cataract & glaucoma surgery in both eyes, 2 weeks apart. I feel great.

We are here in the room since 9am and its already 10:45 and my wife has not been seen by Dr. Gevarra yet!! It's outrageous that they charge $50 for "specialty" when it is not! At least City MD doesn't keep yo in the room for more than 30-45 minutes. We're almost 2hours here!!! It's time to change Ophtalmologist!!

I was so concerned with starting a new opthamologist. I am so happy now to be under her care. She is compassionate, thorough, and explains everything. I feel very secure with her skills.

If Dr. Guevarra did not notice I may have glaucoma, my GP would have put me on meds that could have made me blind! As a result, I had laser surgery in both eyes and was able to take the meds prescribed by my GP. In follow up appointments, she noticed that I probably had a blockage in my carotid artery. Further testing by a heart specialist CONFIRMED she was CORRECT! I love her! She totally explains procedures, what is happening with your eyes and WHY it is happening! She calms me down if I am nervous. She is very gentle and caring. I would not see anyone else!

She is the best eye dr. i have ever been to -- very caring and explains everything so u can understand what is going on -- great staff and the wait is always worth it... she is AMAZING !!! so much knowledge -- Im thankful she was recommended to me years ago.... and James is so wonderful to talk to !! Thank u Dr and staff...

Dr. Michelle Guevarra is an excellent ophthalmologist with a Medical Retina Subspecialty. You can be assured her diagnosis is reliable as she has the latest testing equipment and a professional staff to perform the tests and record the results. She performed cateract surgery on both my eyes and is monitoring my vision for age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and treating my Sjogren's Syndrome [sicca/dry eye disease]. I wouldn't trust my eye care any other doctor.

I just want to say that I recently switched over to emblem health so I will go to eye doctors that take it thanks for years of professional courteous service Michelle and the entire staff at this office are amazing and I highly recommend this eye doctor if I decide to dump emblem in the future I'll come back later
