This is about Dr. Tully at Walmart. (I have subsequently had his worked checked).. I went in to get my near-sighted left eye and my far sighted right eye to align with glasses. Dr. Tully said he could not give me a prescription for my left eye because of a cataract. (My sight was perfecty clear with off the rack reading glasses) His seating was so bad I kept slipping off the chair. All he did was hand me the business cards of three cataract surgeons. This was suspect to me, so I went to another well-respected and experienced Glens Falls optometrist, Dr. Walton. Dr. Walton COULD give me a prescription for both my eyes and said a nascent cataract "might" be a problem in five to seven years. Maybe not. Clearly Tully was acting as a "feed" for these cataract surgeons. This was infuriating. A cautionary tale..... Neither of Tully's numbers checked out with Dr. Walton's.

Contact prescription came out great. Something is wrong with my glasses though. I've worn glasses for 27 years and never had this much of a fish bowl effect, that just won't go away. Also I can only focus on objects/words that are directly in front of me. Anything off to the side the slightest bit becomes blurry with my glasses. Somethings not right at all.

I have always had very good service and excellent help in choosing a frame to fit and suit my eyes, and prompt and courteous service for any adjustments or extra pairs of glasses (for computer work). The optician was quick to call the optometrist to check on the prescription and get approval -- will certainly go there again -- way better value for the cost!

If you ever listen to a review heed this warning. Purchased glasses they came in everything in one lens was off everything badly tilted. Took glasses back they said they sent them out to remake the lens. They never did and called they were done. Went to pick up glasses nothing had been done and they unscrewed the lens that did not need fixing. That was done to make it look as if they had the lens remade. picked them up attempted to wear them horride vision from the right lens. Next day took them back for a refund.
I had paied in cash so should have recived cash back. No they are sending a check in 2 to 3 weeks, long time when you paied in cash. asked if they could give Me cash like i had paied. They called the police on Me no joke. I never yelled or anything was calm doing whole interaction. I have never had the police called on Me in my life or did I deserve it by Walmart vision of Queensbury NY. I have never felt so abused in my life. If you want Rude service and the police called on you if they make you defective glasses. Walmart vision center of Queensbury NY is a place to avoid at all costs.
