Eyes on Amboy

I had a wonderful experience at this office. I came in for my own eye exam and also brought my daughter for her very first eye check-up. The optometrist was incredibly kind, patient, and made my daughter feel comfortable the entire time, which meant a lot to me as a parent. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and very professional. Everything was quick, organized, and efficient, but we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this office for both adults and children. Thank you for making my daughter's first eye appointment such a positive experience. :)

The doctor was extremely thorough and took the time to thoughtfully address all of my questions and concerns. The office was very clean and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. They also had a beautiful selection of glasses.

Amazing office on Amboy! The doctor was incredibly accommodating and was able to see me the same day for an emergency appointment, which I truly appreciated. The office staff is very polite, professional, and helpful. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mazniker was very thorough and explained everything clearly to me and truly listened to my concerns around my vision. It was nice to feel heard and to have him identify what he feels is the issue and lay out what we can do to try to resolve it. He took the time to try to figure out my complicated insurance. The front desk ladies were also very helpful and not only patiently helped me pick out glasses but were very skilled at helping me determine which glasses would look good on my face. They also carefully went over what my insurance would cover and my options so I felt comfortable with my decisions.

My two daughters had eye appointments today at Eyes on Amboy. Everyone in there was very nice. The store was immaculate. The eye doctor gave my daughters thorough eye exams. My one daughter needed new glasses and there was a wide variety of frames to choose from. The staff was very helpful to her picking them out. Would definitely recommend.

I was treated very nicely by all the staff at the store during a visit today for an eye exam. Very pleasant experience. In addition to the prescription, the Doctor patiently provided a detailed assessment. I received professional and polite feedback to all my questions about insurance and very honest advice about options to purchase glasses with no pressure to buy (unlike many other places I've been to over the years). Based on today's experience, I highly recommend.

Everyone was very kind and talked me through the entire process, and I did not have to wait very long before being seen. There was, however, a longer wait between the initial check and seeing the doctor, but I believe that was only because the gentleman with the appointment before me had more to discuss with her. Because of that, I honestly did not mind waiting. I appreciated that she took the time to listen to her patients rather than rushing them out the door. She was a great listener and did not rush me either. Afterwards, the very nice woman at the front desk explained the allotment my insurance allowed for glasses and even helped me pick out the perfect pair. She was not pushy at all about spending beyond what we had already discussed, I was comfortable with. They also offer shipping as an option with an additional cost, which I am very grateful for. I hope my next insurance plan covers them when I switch. I'll be sad if it doesn't!

This place was a little out of the way for me, but I decided to give it a try anyway. The person who answered the phone about my insurance questions, the lady who checked me in on the day of my appointment, and the ophthalmologist herself were all great. very helpful and patient in explaining my situation. Seeing an eye doctor as an adult after not having glasses for over eight years was a big step, but I left here feeling great. While I was looking for frames, they offered so many thoughtful recommendations and helped me narrow it down to two. I can't wait to get my new glasses!
