I scheduled father to meet with Dr. Rosenthal because I was very concerned about my dad's vision. His eyes were crossing and he was experiencing double vision. He has diabetes so it was of high priority. I was unable to go with him so my mom went along. The first appt there was no plan except to do further testing to confirm glaucoma which took another visit not to mention needing to reschedule twice bc the machine broken. I even called and wanted to speak with her which took a week and a half to return my call after calling back twice to see when she was going to return my call. When she finally called me back she said she wouldn't be able to help him with the eye crossing and needed to see neurologist (this could have been told to me from day 1. I just completed the visit with the neuro-opthamalogist (which is actually who he had to see and a neurologist would have been the wrong specialist) and he was completely shocked that she being an ophthalmologist was unable to tell me that my dad had Diabetic retinopathy. I warn all of you to not go to this doctor that I really don't think she's actually licensed or doesn't know what she's doing plus to have my parents have to pay for two separate visits of what should have been done in 1 visit just to get the copay not to mention even after they took the copay they have the nerve to be billing my parents for the copay. Please do not go to her if you value your eyesight.

Dr Rosenthal was amazing and she was able to see me as an emergency. .I am a (new patient) the same day I called the office. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They also have a gentleman there that helps you with your glasses. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Rosenthal is a truly intelligent, Kind,& hardworking ophthalmologist. Linda the technician/office manager is a doll and also an expert and the whole crew is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you. Thank you Advance Vision Care Associates. I look forward being back.

What all other doctors do in one appointment she divides it into 3 appointments which means 3 co- pays. She gave the wrong lens prescription and then had the nerve to charge for another eye exam. Her mistake ended with her making even more money. If you want to transfer your records to another doctor be ready to pay her for a copy of your file. I've never experienced a doctor charging a patient a flat fee for their own medical history. Insurance companies get those fees, patients do not. My guess is she charges to discourage you from going elsewhere. I'd rather start fresh with a new doctor then give this woman one more penny.

I would leave a negative if I could. This is a just about the billing. I went in with blurred vision and was told I had to come back for three different appointments and get tests. They never treated the vision issue. The doctor was rude and dismissive. The second visit I did not even see the doctor but my insurance was billed as though I did for testing. The worst experience ever. The response by office is not accurate.

I Love Dr Rosenthal. I have been blind in my right eye I was 8 when I lost the site,She is a real professional she get a little grouchy at times but we ALL get that way I recommend her if anyone asks me,I was to a lot of Drs but she is the best
