The negative reviews on this place are %100 spot on. The office staff at check in are down right miserable people. The office manager who checked me in was absolutely condescending, and annoyed I had questions on how they processed my insurance. I have no idea what happened in this woman's life that made her the way she is but I haven't a clue how she is holding a job. Not only was she rude to me, she made fun of an older foreign couple behind their back after they were gone and was condescending and short to people on the phone. I do have to say the doctor was friendly and professional but I will definitely not be returning to this place. There's more but they've already wasted enough of my time i just wish I had read all these negative reviews before hand. Steer clear of this one they don't deserve your time and money.

I was a patient here until I had an out of state death. I called before the 24 hr to give notice. They said fine. I didn't come right back to New York. So they dropped me. According to the rude woman on the phone she said I was sent 3 letters in the mail. LIE!!! I never received any letters. I sure was mailed a letter stating I was no longer a patient though. I would agree with this if I missed appointments or never called. But I'm sorry I felt the death of my grandfather was more important. And they wonder what is wrong with health care!!

Don't come here if you have an elderly parent you want to accompany to the visit. You will have to sit in the hallway. No exceptions! She is not steady on her feet, she has trouble hearing and she has an issue with her memory. Not to mention they failed to diagnose her correctly the first couple times she was here. Horrible place!

Run away from this facility. While Dr Robinson is a good Dr, dealing with the front office is horrible. I stopped cataracts surgery after constantly having to deal with them. Went to another Dr where they treat you like a human being with questions and concerns. Just got my your dropped letter from Dr Kamath after the fact. Well Dr, you need to look at all the bad reviews from the Troy office. Maybe you need to drop them.

I have been going here for a few years and never had an issue. I called and cancelled an appointment in January a week prior, and at no point on the call did they say they would no longer take me as a patient. I got a letter in the mail saying I was no longer a patient since I didn't have an active appointment but to call back when I wanted to return. I just called and she said I can't make an appointment as they dropped me as a practice. When I said I didn't know why (she didn't know my name or anything at this point- I just mentioned I got a letter) she said she'd have to ask the doctor and had no idea. She didn't look into anything about me at all. It was so bizarre

Just called this place to make an appointment and they said I'm not allowed to make an appointment because I missed my first one. Mind you I miss my first appointment because of misinformation that was given to me for the location and the phone number. Secondly, I broke my arm. It was not able to drive to my appointment and they were mad because I didn't call to cancel. I broke my arm a week prior to this appointment where this is the last thing on my mind so they blacklisted me from coming here. Do not come to this facility super greedy staff and ownership read the previous reviews and you'll understand how this place operates. Do not give them your business.

This staff is amazing and I tell the Doctor every time I visit how lucky he is to have then. Doctor is soft spoken and listens to concerns. Speaks in understandable terminology setting your mind at ease. Left another provider who had 2+ hour visit times. I've never been more than 45 mins in this office with dilation for a glaucoma check. Can't say enough good things about them.

Will fire you as a patient after 1 missed appointment. In addition to the 50 dollar no show fee.
